Prismacolor Colored Pencil PC935 Black - One Dozen Pencils

I have a set of Prisma, Caran d'Ache, Faber-Castell, and Derwent colored pencils. I rotate between them but far-and-away, Prisma is my favorite of all for its creaminess on the paper. Derwent comes in second place for me. For some, they might find it surprising I put Caran d'Ache at a distant 3rd, but here we are. I'd toss the Faber-Castell's altogether but that'd be a waste... so I'll use them. Way back before I knew better I bought a set of Castle Arts pencils. Don't bother. Yuck.Anywho... I run through black Prismas like crazy, so I went ahead and bought an entire package of them. It's best for me to use a manual sharpener for that very reason. An electric pencil sharpener shaves off too much unnecessarily, leaving me to order pencils every other day. Wasteful.As an added boost to this Prisma cheerleading sesh; Prisma also makes the absolute best blending pencil. I order those by the box, too. Beats the heck out of Q-tips or even petroleum jelly for blending.

These solid pencils were needed by a fellow artist friend who was very happy to receive them as he makes his iving drawing people's portraits along the coast of Central California. Thanks for the high quality of these extraordinary art pencils!

I use black often. Love this brand, it colors smoothly.

Very good quality pencils , good to take it with full set because you will need more white and black
