A portrait in standing up
The end of this book brings tears to my eyes. The author and subject of this book is one of the most great and humble citizens of this country. She stood up and walked where none before her went. I admire her for the courage she had and gave and still gives. She never gave up and kept the long game for inclusion of all in mind. Her portrait gives all of us a way to remember her and honor her with standing and stepping where she led.

Ruth Based Ginsberg
I am 68 years old and remember a great deal about this amazing women's life. I respect her so very much for the work she has done for the Supreme Court but also the work for equality for all. Small in size but a giant among the Judges and attorneys she worked with all of her adult life. She is an amazing woman, wife and Mother. I loved learning more about this amazing women's story.

My Own Words
I was really looking forward to reading this book but I'm a little disappointed in it. I wanted to know more about Justice Ginsburg's life. It's not a bad book if you want to read about her speeches and about other people close to her and others that have known her over the years.

amazing woman
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I knew she was smart but I did not not all the ways she influenced and impacted our efforts to achieve equality.

Justice Justice Justice
I like the book tone balanced between the story of legal history wrapped in humanity while sharing the story of RBG as her legacy was created bringing us more perfect Union!

Great Contributor to Law
I loved reading about Ruth Bader Ginsburg, an understated trailblazer I wish I was more aware of, other than a Justice. Her absence is sorely missed! What an intelligent and wise woman!

Interesting read
Shows how she battled to overcome tremendous gender discrimination (albeit with the help of a good husband encouraging and supporting her) in order to reach the highest court in the land. Inspiring to see how she worked tirelessly to make things better for the next generation of women.

Inspirational book
The reason why I have given it a lower rating is that I would have liked a more personal account of her life rather than listing her achievements - it felt like a legal factual account rather than a human story.

Boring
The book could not keep my interest. And I study law.
