Great resonator!
This is the second one of these I’ve bought, since the first one worked so well on my Datsun, I just got one for my Mustang too. I fabbed up a stainless exhaust on my Datsun Roadster but it was a bit too loud and had too much drone when the top was up (4 hour trip to Shasta convinced me) I swapped the bottle resonator for this unit (the 2.25” version) and now it’s perfect. Aggressive but not obnoxious. Paired with a Borla 40658 turbo muffler, FYI.Building a 2.5” exhaust for my ‘67 Mustang with a straight 6 now and this was automatically my go-to due to it working so well on my other car. This time paired with a Gibson 55142S.

Wow...just give it time to settle in!
Edit: After 2-3 weeks either my exhaust, this resonator, or the system as a whole really settled in. The sound is still nice and throaty when stepped on, but to the naked ear is just slightly louder than the OEM set-up inside the cabin even at it's loudest. On a DB meter it came down more during this time, but not a huge amount. What it seemed to do best is bring the worst vibrational tones into a range that doesn't sting the human ear. I have to say this is truly a magical product if you give it some time.I installed a cat back exhaust system and replaced the OEM resonator with a Vibrant bottle style resonator (not the ultra quiet) on my Lexus IS250. I found it to be painfully loud inside the cabin, especially between 2-3K RPM's.I went back to the factory resonator and it was quieter than the Vibrant bottle style resonator, but still had a loud drone between 2-3K RPM's (about 81-89db).I couldn't find many reviews comparing the factory resonator to the Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator, so I gave it a shot to try and bring down the noise/drone a bit more.Pro's:-gave the exhaust a slightly more mature, throaty, deep sound (not deep in the sense of drone)-rounded out the tone of the exhaust throughout the RPM band (helped it blend)-made the drone a little less piercing (hard to describe since the volume didn't change much)Con's:-didn't lower overall cabin volume except by 1-2 decibels compared to the OEM resonator-slightly raised the exhaust volume outside the car by about 10% compared to the OEM resonator (didn't measure db)Is it worth getting over an OEM resonator? Maybe, but it probably depends on your setup, the OEM resonator, and your expectations. For me it was a very minor improvement. I probably wouldn't do it again, but I had to find out for myself. It certainly didn't make things worse, but it didn't add significant value either.I feel like most of these reviews are comparing noise levels going from no resonator or an aftermarket (loud) resonator so take them for what they are if you have an OEM resonator.

perfect
If your exhaust is raspy this will kill it and the drone 110%. Great, on my 5 speed solara I only needed 1 to kill the raspiness and drone.

Mellowed the exhaust sound nicely
I bought and installed a stainless MBRP cat back exhaust rock crawler type for my Wrangler JKU. It was loud enough that my wife wouldn’t drive in it. I installed this Vibrant ultra quiet resonator in front of the MBRP muffler and the exhaust sound is now perfect. A bit louder than stock but tasteful! Great job Vibrant!!!

Too quiet on 2.5L Turbocharged 4 cylinder
Got it for a 2021 Sonata N Line. Have straight exhaust and this installed where the factory resonator was. Gives a nice tone. Deeper than stock but not very deep. I think it's too quiet. You can't hear it unless you're right next to the car when it's accelerating. As soon as it drives even 100 feet away it's almost silent. It's a quality product but I'm going to try a louder one, the 18" bottle style resonator.

Reduced highway drone and bark of my work truck
I replaced the stock exhaust from OEM exhaust manifold with headers an dual exhaust but it was louder and raspy with a drone @ highway speeds. With a pair of Vibrants after the muffler it is more civilized and not too loud. I replaced the OEM with dual cat-back exhaust and it was louder, I replaced the headers and cats and it was even raspier. I had other trucks either race me from a light or they were just trying to get away from the racket, now it is civilized.

Great addition for my Yonaka exhaust.
The media could not be loaded. I wasn’t sure if my used Yonaka 2.5in exhaust was going to be quiet enough. My muffler shop recommended me the Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator. It fits nicely on my 98 Honda Civic EK, it looks good, and it sounds great. I paid a professional welding shop that specializes in performance cars.
