Great value and surprisingly good!
So I'll admit when ordering this, I thought that we'd end up returning it.You see, we already own the Manfrotto Xpro monopod and also the Sirui P424 carbon fibre. The Manfrotto is great but lacks feet wide enough that you can leave your camera stood up for long periods without holding it.The Sirui has amazing feet and means you can leave your camera stood up unattended. But the twist lock is a pain and it's also quite an imposing monopod. To move around at weddings with it wasn't easy as you'd end up catching people's legs with the large feet. What we were looking for was the best of both worlds. Ie. Feet wide/stable enough to leave your camera. Clasp style lock to extend the tripod up/down instead of the twist. The Cayer seemed to fit the bill. The feet aren't as solid as the Sirui but they are more than stable enough to leave your camera unattended. I gave the monopod a couple of gentle nudges and the camera remained upright. Unlike the Manfrotto. The clasps make it easy to extend/retract the monopod but a little longer would have been useful. But these are all minor quibbles really. The video head was a nice surprise. Very smooth action.Overall given the price, we were blown away by it. Surprisingly we've ended up selling the Sirui in favour of the Cayer. We kept the Sirui for a few months in case we'd change our minds but ultimately we didn't see any reason to keep it sat in the garage gathering dust.In short, if you are looking for a great value monopod that is up to the job of professional wedding videography. This is a very good choice.

So far so good
I haven't gotten out to use this extensively yet, but on first examination and use it's seemingly quite sturdy and well-built. The fluid had is much more smooth than I expected to be honest, and I like the additional features and versatility it comes with. The feet on the bottom are really nice and help stabilize your shot. Impressed so far.

No need tripod
The best monopods are handy for photographers and videographers to give their camera a little stability without sacrificing on mobility. A tripod can be bulky and awkward to set up, while a monopod – though requiring a hand to steady it – is much quicker and easier to deploy. If you're rapidly changing positions, or in an awkward space on uneven ground, it can be a lifesaver.

Well built, sturdy
Monopod outstanding Well built, stability good but would not leave it standing alone, have used it with birding scope and camera, with no worries.

Great Item if only the QUALITY issues were resolved!
I have now ordered two of these monopods.First Order- Item arrived, monopod looked good and feet added great stability, on my first use with it, one of the clamps failed, meaning even with little weight and the clamp closed the monopod would go down. Other then that it was a great product and I did like it. So i returned this for a replacementSecond Order-Item arrived, checked item and one of the clamps even if open or close does not let the monopod go down or up without using lots of force . It is very disappointing and I will await Cayer to contact me and see what solution they can provide. I will update my rating accordingly...

Good stable monopod
This monopod can hold a full frame DSLR with 70-200 f2.8 lens without holding your hand. The bottom legs are very stable once they are locked in position. They do not wobble like some other brands. Decent height and the built quality is not bad. Video head on this is monopod was not the best. May be there are good ones. I found panning very tight using the video head. Otherwise it is a good monopod for the money. It also includes a decent carry bag.
