worth the money
Worth the price. Better quality than expected.Obviously not a $500 knife, but it was $15.Easily something a local gun store would charge at least twice the price for.Happy with the purchase

Could Be Worse
I buy a lot of cheap knives (just for fun) so I’ve seen a few.Let me hit the negatives right off. This knife is every bit as cheap as the price would indicate. The fit and finish is not something you would accept from a knife that cost three or four times as much. The metal on and around the handle is rough and unfinished. The brass inlay sticks up and if it were any sharper it would cut my hand. The steel is a total mystery regardless of whatever claim you might find elsewhere. The sheath is complete and utter garbage. You might feel alright carrying the knife, but if you put it in that sheath, you wouldn’t feel any pride walking down the street. Lastly, the knife, the box, the ads, they all proudly say, “Design in USA” but the blade says right there on the side “China”.Now the positives. This knife is cheap. None of the negatives are strong enough to keep me from liking it. I can work on it a bit if I want to to get it more to my liking. I’m not going to try to survive in the woods with this as my only knife so the steel doesn’t matter so much. The tip didn’t bend or break after being thrown into a two by four a bunch of times. I like the heft, shape and balance. It fits naturally in my hand. As a left hander I like the ambidextrous nature of the knife. And as the bible says, “If thine knife markings offend thee, file them off.”

Amazing for the price? I think so but YOU decide
Reviewing a knife like this can feel very difficult to do. The reasoning behind this difficulty is the fact that this knife was only $16 at the time of purchase. This is such a low price (and not a mora either) that they could have sent me a piece of unfiled metal sticking out of a handle and I could not really complain. So rather than “reviewing” it I will give my best description of the blade I received and let you discern whether or not you believe it is worth the money. I personally have 0 complaints, however if I payed approx $10 more I would be mildly upset with the issues in manufacturing this knife received.Let’s start out with blade sharpness: the blade comes sharpened out of the box. Although it’s not “razor” sharp like my moras are out of the box it is still deadly and not to be used as a toy. It won’t glide perfectly through a piece of paper but with a small amount of force it still sliced the paper cleanly. It could be sharper, I will have to take this thing to a grindstone then a whetstone and report back.Next thing I would like to address is the grind on the knife. This knife (at this price) can be assumed to be machine milled/ground rather than hand ground. My knife has the exact same grind defect I’ve seen in youtube reviews for the knife. The burr on the knife is not perfectly straight, it curves to the right and ends approx 1.5mm from the true sharpened point of the blade. In terms of functionality this has little effect as this knife is designed purely to stab things, not slice. The handle: the handle itself feels very good in the hand. It uses 2 real wooden plates that are held to the full tang of the blade with setting pins commonly found in older pocketknives and chef’s knifes. The handle itself feels high quality and sturdy in the hand, however closer inspection reveales that the tang of the knife sticks out about 0.5mm out from the wood plates all the way around the handle. This doesn’t bother me but a knife collector may want to grind down around the outside of the tang then polish it. This would level the tang with the wooden handle.Weight: this is a hearty n hefty little knife. It has a very good weight in the hand for the size of the knife. You won’t forget that this is on your persons however it remains light enough to not be a bother when sheathing and unsheathe. Would not make a good throwing weapon as the balance is way off from center of knife to the blade tip.Sheath: the sheath is just a crappy “tactical” sheath. I would have preferred a poly sheath like the ones that come with a Mora as this one catches the blade when quickly sheathing the knife. I tend to carry it without using the blade strap because it sits in there firmly enough to not fall out against the tension. I find I am able to deploy the knife in under a second when carrying this way. If I was doing physical activity such as running I would recommend strapping the knife into the sheath. This will drastically reduce your draw time. I prefer the “click in and snug” type of sheaths offered by Morakniv the most as they do not hold moisture and are extremely easy to deploy yet remain sturdy when running. The sheath that comes with this knife is belt loop only.Hope this review helps!

Great knife
Great knife at this price point. Very sharp point with a double edge blade. Knife also looks good and feels good in the hand. Sheath is not leather but is adequate. I mean you can't expect a fancy leather sheath for this price. It has a belt loop to attach rather than a clip. I have a Smith & Wesson H.R.T. knife that came with a nice leather sheath but it has a clip and I hate it. I'll use this sheath to also carry the Smith since they're the same size.

Can't do better for price
As others have stated, my review reflects the ratio of price and quality. On that basis, you get a lot of knife for ~$17. The knife has a reasonably sharp, double edged blade that tapers to a very sharp point. This is primarily a stabbing weapon for self-defense. It can be used as a general purpose camp knife in a pinch, but double edged knives are too limiting and dangerous for a broad range of applications. The knife has a nice hefty feel, and fittings, while not perfect, are still done with some care. It just feels good and substantial in your hand but some will find it too large for a EDC concealed knife. The Chinese have improved steadily with their metallurgy since the days of Mao's Great Leap Forward (in reality the Great Leap Backward.) I think the sheath is not as bad as some have mentioned. It's stiff, cordera nylon with a snap closure and a wide belt loop, but the knife is a tad loose in it. I'll make a leather sheath; it's good enough to deserve that treatment. As a final caveat- this is a double edge blade and you'd be wise to check your local laws regarding this type of knife. Even if it's legal, the police are likely to give this knife a bit more scrutiny than a Swiss army knife.

Blade is not sharp at all!
Blade is not sharp. I've had butter knives with sharper edges. The tip has a very sharp point though. Unfortunately, the manufacturer only beveled one edge each side of the blade. A double bevel would give a sharper edge. So now I have to bevel 2 edges and sharpen this "tactical knife" that won't cut butter. It's a good thing I have a professional grinding wheel and skills. The handle is nice and the sheath is adequate. Update: Also has started to rust. I thought stainless steel meant it doesn't rust! Gets sharp but doesn't stay sharp very long.
