Love these so much! They’re the most elegant strainers I’ve ever had! Love the way they work!

It does what you need, but it's complicated packing the tea inside. The edges on the ball are sharp when you open it, so you have to be careful. The spring is strong and it'll clamp down on you fast if your finger slips off the button. (That's my experience.) I've nicked my fingers a few times putting tea leaves inside, that's just from me holding it open and it not closing on me.Cleaning is more complicated. You can't simply rinse it out and be done. Tea will get stuck inside either along the walls of it, or that little hole the pin sits through. I've had to take mine completely apart to clean it. Don't forget how to re-assemble if you do it that way. Some of the teas I've used have their own sugars so I never have to add sugar or honey. But! The sugar will get stuck around the spring some how and the build up, if you don't catch it, will stop it from opening and closing correctly.Once you get the tea in there (you will make a mess!) it works great. It looks cool and fancy. It does what you need.

The holes are small enough that leaves don’t sneak out into your cup. Nice quality.

I bought this thinking its eco friendly but man, is it difficult to clean. Every time you have to open the whole spring mechanism to clean with the possibility of it slipping through your hand. I already lost a spring in one of it. I gave up using this now.

Great quality everyone loves it, i thoght it was smaller, but i love it anyways

This is a terrible design from an ease-of-use perspective. The two halves of the ball pull apart like an inch and it's more difficult than it needs to be to load these, and then again to empty and clean them when you're done.They look nice and the quality is ok.. although after a few months, the end of one of mine threaded off and I had to find it and re-thread it on, but they're just difficult to use, so I bought different ones.

I didn't realize it was for a teapot so my husband fills the bottom half and used\s it several times. Still a great tea even after it was soaked and dried again

I love it for tea, but it's a little hard to keep open to add tea and to clean. It could never go to my grandma's who has arthritis in her hands. It is sterdy and I love the ability to stir my tea. Cannot wash in a dish washer unless you can find away to keep it open. No loose tea will ever come out when you are drinking!
