L-Bracket Plate DAL-1 Quick Release Arca Swiss Compatible with Camera / Tripod Head

I use this to hold my cameras vertically. It is simple and effective. Being two pieces put together does not affect it's strength in my opinion. I like the multiple screws at the bottom because I can attach it anywhere I like. Overall, I am very pleased to the point that I got 6 of these (I use many cameras).

I used this bracket, along with a sturdy watch band, to build a holder for my Kodak digital camera. Why? Because the camera is small and my hands lack coordination. With this, I can confidently use my camera, with my left hand in the watch strap, without fear of dropping it. This bracket is PERFECT and is well-made.

You assemble it yourself. Strong enough to hold a bulky 100mm zoom lens.

No photo, because the ones that appear are perfect, show the product as is and are not retouched.

The plates are solid - but no milling for a mount at all. The description is misleading - This is NOT Arca Swiss compatible and it really can't be used in the portrait position. If you look closely at the photos - they represent the true functionality. Landscape only and no arca Swiss.

I think this item will be sturdy enough for light duty use. It was disappointing that it was not machined out of a single piece of metal. There is nothing but screw heads supporting the entire weight of the camera.

Basic and versatile design. Worked well with my non-traditional (CCD) camera setup. Simple assembly is required. Overall good deal.

The the screw did not fit in the slot. I'm trying to file it open.
