COMICA Lavalier Microphone, CVM-M-O1 Omnidirectional Lapel Microphone for Sennheiser, and Other Wireless Lavalier Transmitter, Clip-on Lav Mic for DSLR Camera Video Recording Interview(3.94ft)

I’ve tried a number of different replacement microphones for my MOVO wireless microphone. The locking feature is critical when shooting video in movies. Though this is not a very expensive microphone it does have a very nice sound. I think it compares to even more expensive microphones. When you work on movie sets, the microphones that hook up to the wireless systems are, unfortunately, a commodity. Particularly with inexpensive units. This particular model has a really great sound relatively low price. There are cheaper microphones, but they do not sound nearly so good.

The media could not be loaded. Very impressed with this lavalier mic because it picks up audio clearly and the low frequencies sound great. The mic is well made and the clip is a nice solid metal that feels secure. For the price I think it's a great value.I would like if they add an extra foot to the cable as it’s just under 4ft of cable at 1.2m.It is well built and the strong alligator clip is very sturdy and fastens tightly to your shirt.I like that the end of the cable has a screw-like connection which ensures the mic doesn’t become unplugged.I use it all the time and it is my go to mic for any recording I need to do. Love it.

Really solid lavalier mic. I have one of Comica's shotgun mics and seeing as how I was thinking about purchasing a lavalier mic, I was happy to review it. Mic picks up audio really well, it is recording in mono so you'll just get left channel, but that is just fine for a lavalier. Audio comes through really clear and it gives you the low frequencies for a natural sounding voice. The mic is pretty well made and the clip is a really nice metal that is solid. I'd love to pair this with one of Comica's actual lavalier transmitters. The only thing I think I would improve, is that i'd probably like an extra foot or two of cable, its just under 4ft of cable at 1.2m.If you're looking for a great value in a lavalier and you don't want to spend double the price for some of the big names, this is a great option, you won't be disappointed.

Had to buy replacement lav mics due to off brand lav mics failing. Reliable and record great high quality sound.I learned my lesson, don’t settle for “cheaper” options. Go with this company!

So this Lavalier Mic is great for both a wireless and/or wired setup. I personally use it as a wireless setup with my WM300-TX and it sounds great. Length of the cable is perfect to hide in a subject shirt and I will like the "alligator" clamp that they use, pretty durable and I especially love the locking connection to really secure and to make sure it doesn't accidentally disconnect during recording. I really like this Lav Mic and I would definitely recommend it

The Mic is great but the major flaw is the collar clip to clip on clothes, t should be clipable and flipable to clip either from left side or right side. The mic head and the jack is bigger than the clip holding diameter that its not possible to remove and flip compare to the omnidirectional mic of same brand has the clip flip option.

Sound quality of this mic is bad! No highs and muddy lows. It sounds like it’s under a pillow.

Specifically I wanted this lavalier microphone to use with a wireless package that is prone to RF whine noises when several popular inexpensive models are used with it. It's a known issue. Comica product support confirmed this microphone is intended for their own wireless sets. With this microphone, the system remained quiet - problem solved. In addition handling the cable doesn't introduce noise.The cable feels soft and pliable and has a larger diameter than any of my other lavaliers.Recording samples have a full and natural sound. The level is 6 to 8 dB higher on average than what I get with my other lavaliers and yet quieter. Highly recommended for people on a budget who still aim for decent performance.

This microphone is small and light so it is perfect for throwing in your work bag or your camera bag. It is very easy to set up. It has a headphone-style jack so it is perfect for using with your phone (if your phone can take one of those). The sound quality is very good for a microphone in this price range and is so much better than the microphone on your phone.

I’ve given 4 stars, but I think in fairness that’s a rating that applies to how the mic picks up my voice.When you use this as a lava liner mic you’ll normally pin it on a lapel or shirt front. In my case that placement picks up a tremendous amount of bass from my chest (I guess that’s where my voice production is) and that makes my voice sound ever so slightly muddy.That’s a function of the sound resonance in my chest cage, so for me this mic is ok but requires a bit of eq to get a cleaner sound.If your voice is different and you have less bass in the chest area then you might find it’s perfect as is. It’s a quality mic, no doubt and it feels like good quality material. It’s just that for me personally it picks up too much of the muddy bass frequencies. Since every voice - and body come to that - is different it may not be an issue for you.I do like the mic a lot, but sadly the mic and my voice are not 100% compatible. That’s why I’ve given 4 stars.
