Magnetic Water Softener & Conditioner

I researched this before I tried it and there are mixed scientific reviews with some saying there is no evidence as to actual effectiveness. After a month and a half of use with one set on the inlet of my house there is a noticeable improvement in the hardness of my water. It is softer and already improving the scale buildup. I have well water and it’s very high in minerals. I bought a second set because I was pleased with the results and added it to the output of my well pump.

Really easy, I think it is working but will need an additional one due to how hard the water is here. We are still getting mineral deposits in the pipes but not as much as before.

It is hard to give "I love it" when I just do not know. Since the product does not reduce the hardness, a measurable item, it is hard to say if it works. This is now May 2015. From what I can determine on our 8 electric water heaters the problem, of what I suspect is lime and calcium, does not seem to have diminished I will say this, these are the strongest magnets I have come across in my lifetime! I have enough confidence that I have bought a total of 8, one for each water heater at the camp. I also found them difficult to mount. They kept wanting to stick to each other. Keep your fingers out of the way or you will learn some new four letter words. Better yet, get someone else to install them! the instructions say it will take a while to know whether or not it's working as it has to clean out the build up.it has been aout a month and i feel it is working, the darkness doesn't build up on my sink now that i can tell, and my skin is softer. i had started applying apple cider vinegar and water after my shower prior to getting the magnets and that helped some but even when i don't do that now, i am feeling much better, my skin is softer. the instructions have warnings about the power of the magnets might pinch fingers if not handled right . but i got the small set and they are not strong enough to harm fingers. but do seem to work well. the only other option i found was a $2,000.00. electronic model without the use of salt as well. i'm glad i got these.

Not sure if these things work but they are still installed on my copper plumbing next to my tankless water heater. I decided to buy some super neodymium magnets out on the Internet instead for some other piping. Get the best one N51 or whatever.Good business idea though, wish I had thought of it and the good hting about those red plates is that they prevent the magnets from crashing into each other and chipping. That happens a lot with neodymium magnets, take it from someone who has experience. Also, don't let your kids eat these magnets, else they will be a pain in the butt to take out. LOL.

Device just gives me sense of trying to make it better.There are no tools or methods to measure device's effectiveness. BTW magnet isn't all that strong as they portray it.You'd get stronger magnets from old computer hard drives.

This item comes with no warning on the Amazon page and none until you've opened the package and read through the instructions. If you have an implanted device in your body as I do, the strength of the magnets can disrupt your device, even to the point of putting you in danger. I think that's inexcusable. Luckily my device continued to work correctly, despite the fact that I was within 6 to 12 inches for several minutes. But you can't count on having as good an outcome as I did.

I have hard well water (Wisconsin) and originally bought a Pur water filter pitcher. After two weeks of use, the water wouldn't flow through the filter. I had this magnetic softener installed and now get great drinking water for about two months from one filter and cleaner clothes and dishes all the time. It even removed yellow deposits on the clothes and dishes that had accumulated on my clothes and dishes after adding LemiShine one and then letting them soak a few hours. No longer have to do this as that yellow deposit no longer happens.
