I bought this light to put in a hallway closet that is rather dark. I mounted it at the top of the inside door jam. Mounting take less than 30 seconds. Simply make sure the area where the tape goes is clean ( I wiped it with an eyesglass cleaner). The tape has a small magnet on the other side that holds the light. This is brilliant! When the light need to be regharged just gently pull it away from the magnets and plug into the computer. When I open the closet door the light comes on and shines into the closet and not my face. Shut the door or no activity for about 12 seconds and the light turns off. I have since bought another and put it into another closet. Make sure you mount it per the instructions with the motion sensor facing toward you and it will work perfect. I have had this for over two month and it is still on it's first charge. One of the best products I have ever bouth on line!

This light is very streamlined and unobtrusive and attaches in a clever way with magnets supplied with sticky backs. There are two recessed areas in the light fixture where the magnets cling to the metal of the fixture and hold it securely in place. The light is constructed in a way that the bulbs don't show in the front, so there is no shock to your eyes when it turns on. The light is not extremely bright but gives enough light to see what is nearby and to light the area enough to walk without encountering obstacles. We have ours in our walk-through laundry room, which has a light switch at only one end of the room. Being able to come in the other end of the room and immediately see is great!

Actually, I purchased this light for using at my kitchen. It turns out to be unimaginable perfect for this ideal. Easy to charge it with the cable included, only take 30minz to full charge the light. Im really surprised by its magnetic design. It's just a simple way to attach it into every metal surface. The light can bright for a small area, which is not affect my eyes at all. But the movement sensors is not sensitive as I thought so I have to always use the manual mode to turn the light on. Not as the manufacturer said.

This closet light is awesome. I installed in a gun safe. It comes on when I opened the door, and goes out 15 seconds after I close the door. It is very bright, but I mounted on the ceiling of the safe so it puts light in the right places. It comes on in the middle of the daytime or if the room light is on. Not sure how charged it was when shipped but I haven't had to charge it yet and it has been a couple weeks since I installed it. Magnetic strip works great. I attached it to a sticky velcro strip and attached the velcro to the top of the carpeted safe liner. Love the fact that it is rechargeable, and I don't have to keep putting batteries in it.

I bought this to light my workspace in my craft armoire. It gives plenty of light and does exactly what I need. My only complaint is that it should have one larger magnetic attachment, rather than the two tiny ones. It’s a bit difficult to perfectly align and replace if you take it down and sometimes it falls if I simply bump it while turning it on. With that one modification, I would give it 5 stars. I keep mine plugged it but if you need it somewhere without an outlet nearby, the rechargeable feature is quite handy.

Pretty good light for the price, not as bright as I would have liked but still bright enough. Good for smaller spaces and closets, defiantly a good night light. Well made and sticks very well (used the 3M adhesive) Motion detector works pretty good. Usually have to charge it once a week or so but I leave it on almost 24/7 so no complaints there. Overall i would recommend it.

What a great idea for a portable light! Needed a light for a small closet. This one seemed the choice. It was easy to install. The light bar is held in place by velcro so it can be removed for charging of batteries. The IR sensor did well and light is a little on the dim side but still adequate. Light needs to be charged before placing in place. So far, works as described. Can recommend.

These lights give off a nice amount of light for my bedroom closet. My closet is deep and dark so I have placed two of the lights on the wall to the side and it provides plenty of light to see my clothing even in a dark room. I was very concerned about the amount of light and I am happy with these lights. They come on as soon as I slide the door open and then go off soon after closing the door. I really like that they can be easily recharged with the USB cord - no more expensive and environmentally harmful batteries.
