It was a bummer to have to spend money on a tiny rectangular nonsense. Except I am a graphic designer and editor and am pro-shortcuts all the time. So my control button has been popping off for more than a year now. I've taken to just being careful with it. Until the fateful day that my laptop tipped, I watched the control button fall from the keyboard, land on the floor and quite literally disappear into an unknown Bermuda Triangle-esque abyss. I can not survive with my control button. I was very pleased to find this single key available instead of needing to buy a full keyboard repair nonsense, since my laptop is still so new and lovely... except for that button.Ironically, the day my new little button arrived, the old missing key resurfaced from the abyss. At first I was very upset that I spent money buying a new key when the other finally came traipsing back. I tried placing the old one on again, but it continued to roll off at any movement. So finally I realized the beauty of my new control key. I placed it on in the exact way the seller described in a handy little instruction note I never knew I needed. And it hasn't fallen off again since. My sanity has been saved.If another key ever goes rogue, I know where to purchase it's replacement.

I used this to replace a broken key cap on my 15in 2017 Macbook Pro. I use the laptop as a software developer and this specific key sees an inordinate amount of use, which led the original key cap to come loose and eventually fall off. This replacement key cap fit perfectly and looks amazing, and so far for the past couple month it has been a more than adequate replacement.
