Advantages: Very strong, thick steel turner. Heavy enough to hold bacon down by itself. Strong and resilient. Well balanced. Sturdy handle, tang goes all the way through to the end.Disadvantages: Too big for use in a regular frying pan, really meant for use on a large surface grill or griddle. Pretty heavy, could be tiring to use for a frail or elderly person.Only the front is beveled, would be more flexible if the side edges were beveled as well.Overall, a nice heavy duty utensil, no complaints.

Wonderful American made product. Very very sturdy - no flex at all which is to be expected. This is big, if you can get it under your food, you can flip anything. It works best on griddles or shallow cookware (and grills of course) because the lack of flex won’t allow you to angle the spatula into a deep pan. Always, if you can, buy American over Chinese. This is your opportunity.

Extra heavy duty material. I own several Landon knives which are the best on the market so my expectations were high for this spatula and by golly they exceeded them. It smashes hamburgers on the griddle just like Smash Burger. I know there are less expensive spatulas the same size but the edge on this is even and the cheaper brands are not. Fits perfect in my hand. Nice product.

I bought this as a treat to myself to use while I'm experimenting with putting my iron griddle on the grill. It's a great tool...heavy and substantial. Seems very well made, but I do recommend mineral oil occassionally to keep the walnut looking good. Great for flipping pancakes or burgers.

Oh goodness, someone called this a beast and they were right. It is heavy and super sturdy. Won't bend on you. Scrapped by griddle clean super fast. Smash burgers are simple now. I put mine in dishwasher, it is fine so far. Val

a bit larger than i expected per the picture but worked wonderfully for smashburgers. Very solid and has good balance and heft.

I bought this for flipping burgers on the griddle. It is easily the best flipper I have ever owned. Very sturdy, very well made. Easy to clean. It is rather large, which I like for burgers. Using this, you feel like you are using a serious tool at the grill.

Wasn't expecting this to be as strong! It is really robust and made very well. This will last! Will work great for large burgers and smashing them on the grill. I was going to buy the more expensive one on here but i'm glad I didn't and went with this one.
