Love this. Quiet, warm, attractive, seems well built.

Had a >30yr old entertainment center that would not accommodate todays TVs. Hated to get rid of it. The fireplace insert was very nearly a perfect fit. It made a perfect Christmas gift for my Granddaughter & her family.

We originally received a defective product, the mechanism that operates the flames was hitting the back of the unit as it rotated, making a very loud clanking noise. Not only was the noise annoying, we were concerned that it may cause further damage to the unit if we let it continue to run that way. We returned the unit (we had no issues with the return, and had our full refund within a couple of days), and ordered a new one. We considered other models, but aside from the noise we liked this one so much that we decided to give it a second chance. The second unit arrived in perfect operating condition. No loud noises from the rotating flame mechanism, and the heat blower is even quieter than the first one (we didn't think the fan on the first one was loud either, until we received the replacement which makes virtually no noise at all). No electric fireplace will ever compare to real fire, but this one is more realistic than others that we have seen in this price range. Assembly was very simple, and we easily installed it inside an existing fireplace. It adds a nice ambience to the room, and is a decent supplemental heat source. Our only complaint is that the remote control doesn't like to work if you aren't pointing it perfectly straight in front of the unit... it won't work at even the slightest angle. Otherwise, we are satisfied with the quality for the price.

This thing is WAY better than I expected! I regretted buying it after making the purchase, fearing it would be cheap junk. But it's solidly built and heavy. It has a simple, basic, realistic look, unlike a lot of others that cost a whole lot more. My main concern was the fire effects. What's the point if it looks ridiculous? On this count, I'm over the moon, and I am not easy to please when it comes to visuals. It's awesome. It's actually something one would enjoy watching in the same way one watches real fire. I've seen some inserts where the embers are hardly illuminated and it looks like cheap, fake junk. This unit gets all the details right. All the controls are hidden behind the bottom, hinged door that pulls open via the ring, and they are easy to operate and good quality. The remote isn't much bigger than a credit card.Can't comment yet on the heat output or power consumption, but who buys one of these with the primary concern of effective heating. If your first concern is warmth, you'd probably be best advised to go with the best rated space heater. I'm sure I'll be fine with how this insert works as a heater, as it's not what I'm relying on to stay warm. I bought it for the ambiance, and like I said, on this it exceeds my expectations by a mile. So glad I didn't fall for the 'expensive must be better' thinking.

The media could not be loaded. This fire place arrived and almost installed itself!Whow; what an incentive to purchase, the measurements were accurate and. very precise which is almost unheard of! Theirs is usually one stray dog. But not with this it arrived and was in place in less than 10 minutes. I love it but most of all so does my wife , yep happy wife very happy life if you know what I mean,🥱

This thing is so simple it is sweet. It looks great, kicks out an expected amount of heat for the wattage, has a plenty long power cord, remote is awesome, plenty of options, reasonably quiet - I just love this thing.My absolute favorite feature is how the fan stays ON for a minute or so after turning the heating unit OFF. Such a brilliant idea - I don't know why every electric heater with a fan doesn't do this. I always manually turn the heating element off on our other little space heaters and leave the fan on to cool it down a bit prior to turning off completely.I recently remodeled a room in our basement which was anywhere from 50-55 degrees F in the winter. I added roughly 50 sq feet (2x 2.5x10 ft pads) of in-floor heat when I poured the self leveling cement but these heated coils only brought the room up about 4-5 degrees. After adding this electric fireplace to supplement the heated floors the room went from being 'nice' to being quite exceptional. It didn't take much other than a few 2x4's and some plywood that I sanded & finished to create a pretty sweet looking custom fireplace enclosure and mantle which gave the room just an awesome feel. I plan to add another bedroom in my basement and I will definitely be buying another one of these fireplaces.

I put this unit in my outdoors rv Timberridge 250RDS. Fit great with a little modification of the cabinet. I love the flame and it heats the rv nicely! I couldn't be happier!

The house I bought really needed a focal point in the living room so I decided to design and build a fireplace but didn't want to have to pay to run gas to it. Electric is safe and it's nice to have the option the option of only running heat or the flames (or both of course). I haven't used it much but I plan to use it a lot this winter. I did use it a bit at the end of last winter and it puts out a lot of heat! Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase. I get nervous buying products that have prices so much lower than the competition but this fireplace is a steal for the price. If I have any problems I'll update my review, as of right now I'd highly recommend it.
