Love this thing
I've always loved using phone rings to help prevent myself from dropping my phone, but I hate how bulky some can be, and get so irritated when they get caught on something. Well I got a new phone, which means time for a new phone ring, and this was one of the first ones Amazon recommended. I thought it was too good to be true and that it would fall off easily or break at the hinge, but boy was I wrong. This thing has been holding on tight!! Super strong, very aesthetic, and very functional. I love how easy it was to put on, and that it can be positioned in multiple different positions, as well as on a magnetic mount

Poor Quality For Daily Use
Didn't work with my case from the get-go but that part's on me. I layered the two included adhesive tape circles so it could clear the ridges on my case. That worked for a while til the adhesive on the back of the swivel base itself came unstuck. The circle stickers held just fine, even layered up. 5 stars on the stickers, lol. I removed the stickers and what was left of the adhesive from the back of the and superglued the ring directly to the case. At least that way it stays on my phone. The folding ring doesn't stay closed after being opened and closed a few times and it flops and spins around freely as stated in other reviews. Subsequently, mine also broke clean off from being bent back while in my pocket, which I guess might have been prevented if I had treated the ring like it were made of porcelain. The magnetic part, which is little more than a metal sticker (less than 1mm thick), just came right off when I pulled my phone from my car vent mount after maybe a month's use. The magnet on that is barely strong enough to hold my iPhone SE (small smartphone) so there wasn't much force involved. All in all, could not have been a worse purchase. Durability and ergonomics were clearly not considered and the general design, while indeed slimmer, is all around lower quality than that of any similar product I've tried.I don't leave negative written reviews often, but in this case recommend that you keep looking.

Doesn't last long, but great customer service
Update to my original review:Original Review: Good adhesive, slim and doesn't get in the way of phone mounts, but broke after a month.Update: The seller contacted me regarding my issue and refunded me for the faulty phone ring. While the product is the same, the customer service made the whole experience sting less. And if it hadn't broken, it would've been the best one I've tried so far because it's slim and doesn't get in the way, and the adhesive was superior.

Inadequate hinge
It has a nice low profile sleek look, unfortunately, it is not at all sturdy. I would The first one arrived broken in the package, the ring that goes around it was broken off from the piece that sticks to your phone at the hinge. The hinge on the replacement gave way such that it no longer could be used to prop up the phone after just two weeks of use and it fully broke in two pieces shortly thereafter. The hinge on it is just not adequate for normal every day use. I would give it only one star, but bumped it up to two stars based on its stylish look. Prior to purchasing this one I used another brand for years without it breaking, the only reason I replaced the original one is because it was stuck to the back of an old phone cover. I no longer used, I will go back to the original brand.

It is really thin…
Keep in mind that because those is really as thin as they say, the ring is not very comfortable to hold. I have it on my iPad mini which is heavier than my phone but not that much. I like the product but it’s something to keep in mind.

You Can Do Worse Things With Nine Bucks. Probably.
I have had the black one for one year almost and it's perfect. It does exactly what it says it does, sticks well to my phone(One Plus 7t Pro) and attaches to the magnetic stand on my dash without moving until I move it myself. I don't know what anyone else is doing with theirs but I've never felt like it was flimsy or even cheaply made. It might have cost a dollar or less to make but it works well. It has zero additional bulk to my phone when it is in its wallet case and that was my primary motivator for buying it in the first place.I don't use it as a stand, ever, and since my phone is not a fidget spinner I don't spin it around. I highly suggest buying another magnetic phone ring if you are looking to do those specific things. There is no point in bothering with this one in particular if that is what you're really looking for in a mag ring thing. If you just want something to stick to a magnet in your vehicle, and won't push your phone out of its case, then this is likely exactly what you want. It also only costs nine bucks, and possibly less if there is a coupon box that can be checked.✌️

Cheaply made. Waste of money.
When I first put it in my phone, I was like “Wow! 5 Stars.” After just a few days … The magnetic plate, which IS GLUED ON, fell off and basically takes away 80% of the functionality. Another example of “You get what you pay for.” I thought this was too good to be true and alas it is. Do yourself a favor and choose another option.
