OOFOS Unisex Original Thong

Had really painful plantar fasciitis and ordered these...Sizing was confusing and ended up with a size EU 40 - am a 5. 5 Uk size Women. Was going on holiday doing a lot of walking and really worried that I wouldn't be able to do anything but these were fabulous. 4 months now and although still wearing them - every morning and all day when in the house...I can place my foot on the floor when I get out of bed without acute pain! which I could not do before. I have rigorously done exercised too and had insoles in trainers. Pleased I can occasionally now wear small heels or other 'going out' shoes - would recommend

I love them but after I got used to them - like walking on air ( strange) I would recommend them and have done to friends

My husband was recommended OOFOS flip flops by his local running shop - he bought what was apparently a size 8 (it has EU41 written on the bottom). As his pair were far too big for me I ordered a UK6 (EU39) and UK7 (EU40) size for women (I am normally a 6.5 in sports shoes). I found very little difference in the two sizes but went with the EU 40 which fits well, but is certainly not too big. I would therefore say that these shoes come up small if you are a woman. (I do not understand why they list separate sizes for men and women).Anyway, on to the positive. The flip flops are incredibly comfortable and very supportive. I have been suffering from Plantar Faciitis for most of this year and cannot walk barefooted without pain. These OOFOS flip flops are therefore perfect to wear around the house.

These sandals are amazing. I have been suffering with pain in my right foot for months now. Undiagnosed but most likely plantar fascitis. I have tried all types of insoles and have had a steroid injection. These helped but I was still sore. When I wear these I am completely pain free. I work in a hospital setting and am on my feet all day so I bought the clogs - now I am pain free at work as well. Can't recommend them highly enough!!!!

Great to wear and it really feels like you’re being protected by the absorption as you walk or stand. Great customer service, excellently explained sizing misunderstanding in my part.

My wife loves her Oofos nearly as much as me. She’s a runner and bought her two pairs as she suffers from plantar fasciitis. One is an indoor pair and one she wears out.She loves hers to bits and convinced me to purchase some when I started suffering from running injuries.I normally prefer a flat flip flop, so this was a change for me. They are very squishy and I found my feet got really hot in them.The physio recommended that I try and always wear a supporting shoe rather than go bare footed around the house, so I wear them a lot.My injuries are clearing but it’s hard to say if the shoe has helped or they have just naturally repaired themselves.The Oofos are really comfortable, but feel a bit big. I went for my normal size and it feels like they stick out at the front a little too much. Apart from the front bit, the rest of the shoe feels really supportive and easy to walk in.

I was told about these by a podiatrist, when visiting Portugal a few years ago. I said how the thong on a sandal rubs my skin red raw and results in bleeding. I still searched for them when back in the UK but they were only available online and mainly in the USA. As I was not convinced about the benefits, I wasn’t prepared to buy. Saw these on Amazon UK so decided to take the risk - I should’ve believed that podiatrist! Brilliant! Perfect fit (I’m a UK size 4 with wide feet) and they fit fine. Incredibly comfortable and finally.....a sandal that doesn’t rub my skin (not one little bit) even after wearing them for quite a while day after day....thought I’d never wear a sandal with thong ever again (since the last episode of being cut to shreds) so I’m a very happy customer. The plus side is the fact that they’re incredibly comfortable for your entire foot - glad I bought - fab!
