So far so good. Keeping time accurately.
It’s been in operation for only two weeks now and it’s working great. It’s keeping time correctly.

High quality, easy to install and program BUT CLOCK LOSES HOURS EACH DAY!
I bought this to replace a pricey, but now dead as a door nail, electronic wall mount timer. I saw some good reviews and some poor ones, but owning several reliable but reasonably priced Woods timers I decided to give it a whirl.Well, I’m very glad I did. It was far easier to install than some reviews led me to believe, and the installation instructions were very clear to follow. It doesn’t look as though it will fit in a “Decora” wall plate, but it does, and very neatly too via a clever design trick. It’s super-easy to program, in contrast with the expensive, electronic GE timer it replaced. Sure, I lost the ability to program differently on different days, but I’m glad for reducing my eye strain and thankful for the $ I saved. It’s very well made, too with stranded wires throughout and quality materials. The pins are captive and so cannot be lost.UPDATE: After owning this for several months, I’ve discovered that the internal Clock loses over an hour a day, so completely useless as a security timer. At first, for a while, this timer worked just fine. But gradually it began to run slower, so slow that eventually the lights would come in during the daytime and go off at night. Don’t know if this one is a lemon, or if they’re all pieces of crap

Easy Install, Good Quality, Worth the Money
I have read quite a few negative reviews but thought I’d give it a try. One of the most mentioned issues was that a wall plate could not be located that fit. I added a photo of the instructions regarding that which I will speak about shortly. The timer arrived packaged well from the manufacturer. All the parts and a few extras were included. My particular timer was white. It did not come with a decorative wall plate. The instructions were clear. Basically put, white to white neutral, black to incoming black hot (source), red to outgoing black(light).I did not notice a ground wire or location nor is there mention of it in the manual. The light switch is also made for a 20Amps and also works with all light bulbs. I have confirmed it works with LEDs, Fluorescent, and incandescent bulbs. The switch contains a 24 hour timer which allows me to effectively set a time section to turn on and off. Currently mine is set to turn on at 7pm and off at 7am as seen in the photo. The position of the current time arrow varies on how you put it back on the timer. Mine actually came pointing to the bottom left and I accidentally reversed it to top right; however, this has not prevented it from coming on at the set time.I believe it to be well built. It does not appear to be cheaply made. With that said, the wires are aluminum stranded. The manual switch that sets the timer off, on timer, and manual on works as designed. The wall plate I used was a 2 switch 1 Decorative wall plate made by Eaton. The instructions state to disassemble the timer by removing the time knob, and the face plate(held by 2 screws). Then you install the light according to the wiring diagram. After that secure the timer in the box. Place the decorative light plate over it and screw the plate to the timer. The opening aligns to the timer as you screw the plate and the timer together. Install the timer face place and secure with the two screws. Replace the knobs. The timer faceplate overlaps and sits on top of the decorative faceplate as seen in the instructions and my attached photo. You do not need to enlarge the decorative face plate opening to get it to install over the timer faceplate. All in all, I have no complaints. I would recommend this timer over the digital 24 hour timers as it functions the same and is less costly. I believe that the switch will last 5+ years. I will be sure to update my review if it fails sooner than expected.Update: 15 April 2020. It’s still running strong. As a matter of fact, I purchased three more. Two of which I am mounting in a vivarium. I still recommend them.

Received a used product
Timer came in a box that looked like it had been the item returned by a previous owner. It was loose in the box had no screws nor directions.

Requires neutral, standard cover plate doesn't fit
One thing; it needs neutral wire and the porch light just switched a hot. I had another switch in a box next to it that went to a lighted house number. I connected the timer neutral to the line side of the number switch. With the number light switched on, the timer gets the current to power the clock and the number light (3 watt led) is on. OK so it's convoluted but works. I prefer the mechanical dial to an electronic one. When the power is off, I simply twist the dial to reset rather than go through an electronic resetting. Another thing, it took a bit of time carving out the opening of a switch cover plate with a dremmel
