Easy to upgrade kids roller blades wheels
Nicely made. If wheels come with bearing for 8mm axle and you need 6mm, just pop out one side, remove spacer, and these slide right in, then push bearing back in. No problem. Did 8 wheels on about 5 minutes with just a large Allen wrench (used to pry out bearing)

Spacers work as advertised
Spacers arrived quickly. Fit axle and bearing perfectly. I was replacing a custom bearing that had an axle size hole, with standard bearings. These spacers solved the problem with the bearing hole being larger than the axle. The original bearings jutted out wider than the bearing, giving the wheel room in the skate. Added 6mm washers to either side of spacers and every thing works great.

Good spacers!
I bought them after using spacers that did not have the extensions on either end to go through the bearings. Let me say, that SUCKED!!! I put these in and compared them just by hand-spinning my wheels. With clean bearings, the junky spacers rotated my wheel about 3 times before stopping. THIS one just kept spinning...and spinning...and spinning at least 25 times. I'm skating so much faster now because of them, even with dirty bearings!I don't know that there's anything really special about these spacers, but I would say that if you owned the other type then there's no question. No matter how often you use your skates, it is WELL WORTH the $12. Not just so you skate faster, but it's a lot less energy required to keep your body in motion.

Revised review.
Superskates provided the high quality aluminum Kryptonics spacers as advertised at a great price! I needed spacers for an outdated pair of Bauer inline skates and mistakenly ordered the Kryptonics spacers believing that my longstanding search for spacers had ended. My purchase of replacement wheels including the proper bearings eliminated my spacers needs and got me "rolling" again. As a novice shopper I learned about the spatial differences between spacers for "skates" and "skateboards". ... I wish I could skateboard!!! (This is from an "older head")Just when I thought I lost time and money; Superskates provided some excellent customer service through Amazon by accepting my return for a full refund. Thank you Superskates!I wholehearedly recommend Superskates as the source for all your skating needs! Best wishes for a great 2012!!!

"MUST HAVE" FOR YOUR INLINES!
YOU MUST HAVE SPACERS! Dont kid yourself, don't try to ride your inlines without them. The handling is just not the same. and you can't tighten the wheels down as much either. BETTER THAN PLASTIC! Plastic spacers get a little warped or get divets in them over time.. the aluminum ones stay truer and assure your bearings wont compress into your wheels. (i think the plastic ones compress a little when you tighten them down..)And Superskates is an excellent vender of these! They made sure i got them on time, without a problem..

Work as designed
What can I say. These spacers work just as they are supposed to. All eight were fine, no problems. I got new wheels and bearings and these spacers fit perfectly.

Poor fit spacer
The fit between milled end of spacer and bearing inner race mounting hole too loose. Machined end measured 7.5mm and the bearing was 8mm.

Useful NON threaded spacers
I don't know why no one else mentioned this but these spacers are NON threaded which was, thankfully, what I was hoping for. The last set of spacers I bought were threaded (no bueno for my hockey skates) so I was a bit leery about purchasing these. I have 3 sets of wheels for my skates, 76A, 80A and 84A so having the extra spacers makes things way easier since I don't have to remove bearings to get the spacers out and switch out wheels. I can just keep all 24 wheels with bearings and spacers in my backpack and be ready for any surface at any time. There was a bit of debris inside of the spacers that came out fairly easily but appears to have been shavings that weren't completely smoothed out of the shaft of about 3 of the 8 spacers I received. Not a big deal, but indicative of a rush job on the manufacturing side which may point to quality issues down the road.
