Link Of Chain - A Songwriters Tribute To Chris Smither

This is such a good collection of songs that represent Chris’s music and very tastefully done. I think that this is a very good album. Obviously Chris is admired by his peers.I like Peter Mulvey’s version of time to spend. Patty Larkin does a great job on train home. The whole album is good.

I've loved Chris Smither's music for years. The interpretations of his songs by compatriots on the Americana genre come across strong and make for a most enjoyable listen.

I am a fan of Chris Smithers' work, and this tribute album did him justice. I liked the selections and the artists renditions. I have since bought another one to give as a Christmas gift.

Great album. It is interesting to hear his music covered by other artists. There were a couple I didn't much care for, but the other songs made up for it.

chris smither writes great songs and the artists on this cd appreciate that and lovingly render the tunes. one of my favorites of the entire year 2014! so, where can i give it 10 stars?

Überraschend was Chris Smither alles geschrieben hat ;-) ... und was hier von Mary Gauthier, Bonnie Raitt, Loudon Wainwright, Peter Case undundund sehr abwechslungsreich vorgetragen wird.
