Max's Bedtime (Max and Ruby)

My 2-year-old son loves Max & Ruby and asks to watch the show most evenings before bed. I decided to get him a Max & Ruby book, thinking he'd love that too. I was right! He asked for this book every night before bed for the first 2 weeks we had it and now, after a couple months, it's still one he reaches for often. I only give it 4 stars, because I feel it could have been a little longer. Any child who watches the show has a long enough attention span for a few more pages, and I think that would have made this book perfect.

I love the Max's stories. I first read this book 30 years ago and it never fails to entertain. If you read in a voice for Max and another for his bossy sister, the children won't want you to stop.

My grandsons name is Max so the book looks great on his bookcase! The story seems to be for an older child and we are putting it aside for a while! We will get more of the 'Max' books.

I buy children's books whenever I am invited to a baby shower. This is a board book that stands up to toddlers. Max and Ruby were one of my children's favorite bedtime books.

I bought this book as a gift. It is a cute story. The book is a board book so it is easy for little ones to turn the pages on their own. I would recommend this book to anyone with children that likes the Max and Ruby series.

A little more used than I was expecting.

Poor Max - his face says it all. A much-loved favourite book. The expressions on the rabbits' faces are priceless.

My kid loves the tv show, and bought this book for my little guy to enjoy. It's the perfect size, and only maybe 10 or so total pages. Perfect length to keep a 2 year old's attention.

Rosemary Wells is just the best children's author.
