I purchased the Acer to replace a Dell--the latter only lasted about six months before it was junk. This Acer is faster and has had zero problems. Small business use and it works great. Use it with Dell dual monitors. Had to buy an adapter for USB, but it works fine.

When the computer came it worked very well for about a week. After that week we tried running some updates that kept failing over and over. It may have just been a software failure, but it was disappointing to have such issues in a brand new machine. Ordering a replacement now to see if we just got a dud.

I ordered an Acer Aspire TC-780. Instead I received a TC-865, which I later found out was an updated model. It came with essentially no documentation or even start up instructions. When turned on for the first time it just got to the BIOS screen and did not boot any further. I called Acer Tech Support but they could not get it to boot, even after restarting BIOS and having me download Windows 10 recovery software. I am now waiting for a recovery drive from Acer which will take several days, and even then I will need further help to deal with it. If all else fails I will need to ship it to Texas for repair since there is no local service provided in the DC Metro area. I have not had similar any problems of this type with new Dell or HP computers. Until up and running I cannot say more about how fast it is or how it functions. I am not a "happy customer"

I needed a desktop mainly for online usage. Not into gaming. My old machine only had 4GB RAM, was slow to boot and would take forever to do anything. I configured this machine with 16 GB of RAM and it has SSD. The price was acceptable for the specs. Now this machine allows me to zip through the work I need to do. Major time saver.

After 3 Imac's am going back to PC. Have been checking, looking for 2+ years. Tough decision. Found what looked like the perfect pc for my needs. Could not be happier. Answers and co-operation with Amazon and dealer made this a smooth move. Would have liked a USBc but the handy adapter ($9.99) and I'm up to speed.

I initially gave this computer a good review. That was 17 months ago. This morning, it completely died. My husband is an engineer and very good at resurrecting computers. He has brought a number of computers back to life for me in the past, but this one is really dead, dead, dead. What a waste of money!

Only had this a short time and it runs great, start up is very fast. I shopped around and glad I did. Price was good compared to others, especially with having 16gb RAM, the SSD boot & 1 tb hard drive. Definitely recommend this computer.
