Stride Rite Hello Kitty Alternative Closure Light-Up Running Shoe (Toddler/Little Kid)

My daughter is the hit of the playground circuit when she wears them. Other little girls gush over there light-up shoes everywhere we go. They are quite cute. Unfortunately they are fairly stiff and narrow with a smaller toe box compared to other shoes in the same size which is not the best combination for kiddos who require more room across the width of the foot. If the Velcro strap were longer it would be easier to leave them loose for a more comfortable fit. As a result, these are never a first choice when she dresses herself. If you have a narrow-footed hello kitty fan in you life, these are the shoes for you.

I have bought Stride Rite shoes before for my granddaughter; I trace her foot while she stands on paper and then I cut it out and measure it on chart. She does not have a wide foot, but this shoe is very narrow where the elastic laces criss cross and they are not adjustable. I love the style of the shoes; just too cute! So I am ordering a wide even though she doesn't wear wide shoes.

My child loved these shoes. I ordered size 8. She typically wears a 7 or 71/2. She proudly wore the shoes for 2 weeks before we realized that they were painfully squishing her feet. She loved them so much that she hid her discomfort.We gave them away to a younger child, who was thrilled to get them.We intend to visit a store to get proper sizing.

My granddaughter likes these but they are a little large, although wearable. I did order a larger size based on so many reviews stating they run small. And although they are Velcro, she does have to wiggle her foot a good bit to get it inside the shoe. I can't give it 5 stars but in general I am pleased.

My daughter needs wide shoes and even though this shoe comes in "wide", it is anything but wide. I couldn't even get her foot into the shoe past her toes. These shoes are so cute but if your child has wide feet then these are not the shoes for her.

These were way too small for my daughter, who is normally true-to-size in Stride Rite shoes. I went up a whole size and they were still too difficult to put on her feet. Had to return them, sadly. They are really really cute.

My daughter and I love these little shoes. She's a perfect size 5 in most toddler shoes and I know that all her stride rites run a little small so I knew a 6 would be perfect for her and would leave her a little room to grow without being overly big. Her other new shoes are also a size 6 in other brand names and those are still a bit to big to wear for now.I didn't give this rating a perfect 5 because if your buying these online you wouldn't know that they do run a little small compared to other brands.

My daughter really like this shoe. It's light and no at all bulky. We love the lights. My daughter is 2, but she already wears 8.5 or 9. So I bought her the 9 and there is a little room to grow. We love it.
