P.G. Wodehouse : Five Complete Novels (The Return of Jeeves, Bertie Wooster Sees It Through, Spring Fever, The Butler Did It, The Old Reliable) Hardcover – January 1, 1983

I got this for a gift for a family member who is a fan and she and her partner have enjoyed reading it aloud during Covid times to enjoy clever humor resulting in hearty laughter.

The book came in good time and in good shape. And who could ever pass up a PG Wodehouse?

I am still reading this book but this morning as I was reading it my family marveled that I was laughing so hard. (I am more the reserved type....) When they asked me what was so funny, I could barely get the words out! If you need a break from it all, you have to read this book! Wodehouse has such great descriptions of people....the plots are great too! It's like a vacation in your own home.

I purchased this item as a present and the recipient was very happy. Jeeves and Wooster are in the second story, "Bertie Wooster Sees It Through" (which is so funny!), then Jeeves is in the first story, "Return Of Jeeves". The remaining stories are similar in plot and style to Jeeves and Wooster and feature a wise, competent butler and the foolish young man he serves.

I am a huge Wodehouse fan. I purchased a used hardback and was a bit worried but it was in great condition.

Great, great great as is everything by this master storyteller. In fact, P.G. Wodehouse, Rex Stout and Issac Asimov are my three favorite storytellers of the early 20th century. I have read all of their works over and over and over and enjoy them with every reading.

Have been reading the Royal Spyness books, and Wodehouse was mentioned so frequently in reviews that I had to read him. He is very funny and is obviously acquainted with the British upper class.

I think, by this time my husband and I have bought everything P.G. Wodehouse has ever written.... even items long out of print from second hand bookstores around the world. P.G. never fails to amuse and intrigue. Great for travel. I wish somebody would reprise his works on TV... maybe as a updated series. I'f watch!
