Part fit great, works perfectly
Ok, I'm giving this product 5 stars now, and as long as this part holds up I won't change my review, now granted, it's not the 350$ OEM part so I'm not expecting years and years of service but I'm expecting atleast a yr or so at 65$.My 2003 Acura TL was shifting extremely bad, is would not shift most of the time, I was shifting manually, then it finally went into fail safe mode and D5 started blinking and it would only go into 3 and 2nd gear. I figured I'd have to bite the bullet and spend d the 2gs for rebuild but I also have a 2002 accord that basically has the same transmission so just out of curiosity I put my solenoid from my Honda on my acura and it shifted perfectly!! I was so amazed, so I bought this part and now it works fine, now these cars are cursed with bad trannys but hopefully I can keep 2g in my pocket a bit longer because of this part!

Does Not Fit 2000 B7XA Transmission
2000 Honda AccordB7XA TransmissionI was hesitant to buy this critical transmission component as aftermarket, particularly since it is brand-less--always a red flag insofar as quality and reliability are concerned. The cost of a new Genuine Honda OEM linear solenoid assembly starts at ~$160, so I was motivated to find something less expensive. So I heaved a plaintive sigh and took a chance on this part. The solenoid assembly arrived in a completely plain, unbranded box. The part was reasonably well packaged and sealed in a bag. The box includes three O-rings and a paper gasket. The part has absolutely no manufacturer identification marks printed, stamped, or embossed on it.With the original Honda solenoid assembly in hand, I visually compared the two parts--they appeared identical. However, this part would not seat onto the transmission. The part pivots on the 8x36 tube. No amount of gentle jostling resulted in the thing seating properly. For the sake of sanity, I reinstalled the original Genuine Honda OEM part, which dropped in place without any difficulty whatsoever. I subsequently ordered a used Genuine Honda OEM linear solenoid assembly for $65--and it ALSO dropped in place without any difficulty whatsoever. This aftermarket Chinaesium part is an inferior substitute.Lesson learned:Stick with 1) original equipment parts, and/or 2) manufacturers of original equipment parts--I believe Denso makes the linear solenoid assembly for Honda. NOTE: Denso does NOT make the part sold here; nor can one purchase a new Denso linear solenoid assembly for $65 (they cost ~$175+). Ignore reviews of this unbranded part that claim otherwise and dismiss them as bogus.Bleh...

Awesome! Worked perfectly!!
Awesome! Part fit perfectly. Came with o-rings and gasket as pictured and listed in description. Fairly easy to replace in my 2002 Acura TL. Car computer error code for transmission solenoid is gone so I consider this a great DIY repair! My old gasket was baked on. I didn't have a gasket scraper so I ended up placing the new gasket over the old one that only had a small area broken out of it. My recommendation is to also order a gasket scraper so you can fully remove the old gasket without causing any gouges in the metal.

Fixed my 99 accord v6 hard shifting trans and error
213K 99 accord v6 which was written off with a broken transmission. Part took 25 mins to install, cleared the code, changed the fluid and now goes through the gears as it should. Good part and don't listen to mechanics, do your own research.

Great buy for $65 bucks, Plug and play, just as good as OEM
Plug and play. Install was easy, the gaskets lined up with the reservoir as if this was an oem part. This solenoid is a great buy for $65 bucks versus the stealership’s quote of $245 bucks for the part. If your automatic 2003 Acura/Honda experiences a hard shift from 1st gear to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, the problem is most likely a failed solenoid. I changed the solenoid in our 03 TLS and the shifting from 1st to 2nd was like night and day instantly! Saved $2,500 from not having been conned into buying a new transmission.
