Quiet and works great externally.
Pump is quiet and does not leak. These two factors are very important. I use this pump on home grown bio pellet reactor using a Two Little Fishies media reactor (150). This the pump is hanging on the side of the tank, in open air I need the pump to be quiet and to not leak. This pump will work great for anyone planning to use it externally.The only time it is loud is if the reactor I made gets air in the lines. The pump chatters a lot when not in normal operation, but this is to be expected.

I love this pump. Bought it for my evo 13.5! It is very easy to clean, virtually silent, and puts out some good flow!

Quiet and powerful
This pump is almost silent while also being powerful. I replaced a stock pump and I wish i did it sooner. I recommend this pump and any that this company makes.

Quiet and dependable
I use this pump to agitate the water in a reservoir whenever the pump for my hydroponics kicks in, which is about for 20 minutes every 2 hours. I've had my unit now for over 4 years and it's never failed me and is as quiet now as when I first got it.When cleaning it recently I lost one of the rubber rod caps from the impeller! The problem then, and why I took away a star, is that most spare parts come from Europe and the cost of a new impeller plus shipping is close to the cost of just buying a new unit. So if I can't improvise with something from a craft or hardware store I'll probably just buy another one and keep the current one for the next time I lose something.

The noisiest air pump I’ve tried in this hobby
I’m not sure if I just received a faulty pump or if it is just this noisy. So noisy in fact, I refused to even put it in my tank. My fish would have been very uncomfortable and stressed in their tank. I am returning.

Quiet! TUNZE QUALITY and SERVICE
If you need a pump with this GPH rating, get THIS one not a SICCE! . This is totally silent. I already went through TWO Sicce of similar GPH due to leaking. I know if this happened to a Tunze I'd get WAY better customer service than Sicce. Get this one for QUIETNESS, reliability, and future cust service if needed.
