My grandson loves this set. He loves the fact that there’s four colors and the flags that go with the countries.

Ordered these for our nephew. Look great and we are sure he will enjoy them.Packaged well and arrived on time to wrap for Christmas.

I'll start with the negative. The package arrived and inside the box, the top of the bucket on the outside was covered in thick dirt or some kind of really nasty black substance. I don't know who decided to pack that into a box. It was disgusting.I did not want to return it as we were on vacation, so called Amazon to let them know I would try to clean it. So I cleaned off the gunk (took a good deal of scrubbing and washing) and the soldiers inside were mostly fine. One had a dangling hand, but chalking it up to a war injury. He's a grenadier anyhow.My 7 year old (and my former 7 year old self) loved them! Set them up on sand castles on the beach and he had a blast. One thing we discovered was that the Japanese army, yellow colored, is easily mistaken by seagulls for food. At one point a swarm of 20+ birds swooped down and started plucking soldiers from the sand. Of course they could not eat them, but they were flying away and dropping them all over the beach. Needless to say, the fortress held when the "air force" was called in. We did recover all the soldiers, which held up well in the bombardment, but we stopped using the Japanese army.I would purchase this again, but I'd hope whoever packs it up it much more conscientious about their job! It is a bucket of fun!

Lots of cool and colorful looking soldiers. They soldiers are very rich in detail. Lots of amazing and animated poses as well.I wish that there's more of them being sold here or elsewhere, because these soldiers are really nice-looking and durable. And they are affordable as well!

Wow. These are just awesome. It seems though the Brits have the best detail for some reason and Americans the least. But all are excellent.All of them look awesome....each army has different poses, weapons and outfits. I cant say how historically correct they are but I can say I can tell which are what army even if they were not color coded. Each have distinct weapons.Huge variety in poses, weapons and among the different armies. The Bagpipe Brigade looks awesome and I have never had any of those....death by bagpipe. The Japanese army has swords too. The German machine gunners are awesome. U.S. flame throwers are always my favorites.Figures are very detailed and bulky, not thin. All stand well and I only had one broken gun tip. No problem. They are not soft and are not brittle either. Nothing is flimsy. Probably no fun to step on.I included several pictures so you can see this huge lot and some details. Highly recommend for all ages. A+
