Summary: A high quality, sleek wireless charger that works excellently with compatible devices.In the Package: The wireless charger (powerwave pad) comes well packaged with a 3 foot micro USB cable. A welcome guide (instructions) accompanies it together with an 18 month warranty leaflet and customer service contact details.Design: The charger has a sleek, simple design as per the photo. This simplicity compliments any room wherever you choose to place it. The cable is unobtrusive and can be tucked away out of sight. The size of the charging pad is just right to charge small and large phones alike. It is compact enough to carry in a coat pocket or bag with the micro USB cable and plug adapter (not included) disassembled.Using the Wireless Charger: the charging pad easily connects to the micro USB cable and this then connects to the plug adapter. In this case I used the Anker Quick Charger Adapter in conjunction with the wireless pad to connect it to the wall outlet.Once connected, and switched on at the wall outlet, a small blue light can be seen for a couple of seconds to indicate it is on. Once this light fades place the phone on the charging pad and you are set.The wireless charger has fully charged my Samsung Galaxy S9+ in around 2 hours from a 20% charge through a silicone case. The charging time is slightly faster when the case is removed but I am happy with the 2 hours charge time with the case on. As with all wireless chargers the use of a case will increase the charging time by varying amounts. Be aware that if you don't use a quick charger adapter the charging time will increase.You can pick up the phone from the wireless pad at any time to use and then simply place it back to carry on charging. The surface of the wireless pad is anti-slip allowing the phone to rest firmly in place. Be aware though that this surface is a dust magnet as can be seen in the photos. Wiping with a microfiber cloth generally removes the dust well.Conclusion: The Anker wireless charging pad is great at what it does: wireless charging. Added to that the non slip surface and the excellent design, together with excellent fast charging capability and you have an excellent way to charge your phone.

***Samsung Galaxy user***I have been using this product now for a few months and am generally very happy. It is light, compact and easy to pack away and carry with you if needed, and it feels well constructed and durable - a lot like the Anker wireless speaker that I have.I think this is a great product in general for the money, as with other Anker products, but a couple of notes of caution:1) As mentioned in lots of the other reviews, you need to make sure your phone is placed centrally on the charge pad, otherwise it might not charge (worth pausing for a couple of seconds when you place it down to check if a charge symbol appears on your screen - I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e and it usually does).2) You need to have a fast charger, as in the product description, otherwise you won't get fast charge speeds. It works if plugged into a low voltage USB charge source, such as a laptop USB port, but charges more slowly.3) Your screen won't timeout when charging if lit when placing on the pad (possibly annoying at night time for beside charging). This is presumably more about my Galaxy phone than the charger, but still worth bearing in mind.Overall, very happy with this product for the price though, and these are minor complaints. It looks and feels very solid for the money, delivers a great charging speed (when placed on the pad correctly) and so would recommend!

I have just purchased from anker 3 items, powercore slim portable charger which is brilliant, it charged my samsung galaxy s8+phone really quickly. A soundcore flare mini, which has a brilliant sound and this wireless charger which I am really disappointed with, it has taken over 1 hour to charge my phone only about 15% I even took the case off to see if it would charge quicker and also tried another plug adapter, at this rate it will take over 4 hours to charge my phone from flat, I thought it was supposed to be quick charge. On reading way down the inform again, about it, it says if you want the quick charge you have to spend more money and purchase a quick charging adapter, if I had realized this I would not have purchased this, so I think I maybe contacting amazon to return in the next few days and either looking for an alternative or just sticking to the old fashioned wire supplied with the phone as that charges 4 x quicker. I seem to have come to the conclusion that these are trickle slow chargers. When selling an item they should state where it says fast charger (when used with a fast charge charger, sold separate) so the customer is not mislead or find they have to fork more money.Update:I would like to say Anker contacted me regarding the issues I was having with the charger. They sent me one of their stand chargers to try which i find alot better and works perfectly, you can even watch videos if you wish whilst the phone is charging as it stands upright, it still takes 3 hours to charge from flat, but this is the time they take, they are slower than a wired charger, it comes up on my phone screen when placed on the charger how long it will take. Ankers customer service is excellent and they contacted me the next day via email and also explained that I did not need another charger as my phone is QC-enabled. I think I was ignorant to the quickness of these chargers, I assumed it would be quicker than my wired charger but this is not the case, I have changed my review from a 1 to a 4 based on myself not having the knowledge of these chargers and the fantastic customer service they have given, there are not alot of companys who take the time to contact, explain and send out a better charger to their customer.
