Cicuit board works and easy to replace
Works as advertised to replace Clack V3108 circuit board. I don't know the version of my old circuit board but was about 8 years old so probably one of earlier versions. The only problem is the buttons have to be pressed hard to activate setting menu and adjustments. I made sure the cover was secured and latched but still need to press the buttons hard to set the controller. Board was easy to replace by unplugging the (3) connectors at the bottom and then unlatching the board at the top clip latch and tilting the board forward to unlatch it at the bottom clip. Unplug the power before replacement. If the board display is dead when controller is plugged in, then power supply may be the issue and board replacement will not solve the problem. I had error code 4003 which indicated circuit board problem. The new board is installed with reverse procedure of the board removal. Make sure the board is securily latched at the bottom and top clips. The cicuit board is easily accessed by removing the cover unlatching the side clips. This new cicuit board saved me new water softner which would have cost me $2000 to replace.

WORKED PERFECTLY!
Arrived quickly and was easy to install and worked exactly as expected (also ordered the 12v power transformer with it). Unfortunately I didn't write down the settings from the old card and had to research it for a few days. Basically, you don't really set it to the capacity of the size of your softener, but have it so that it regens at least once a week (for a family of 4 using 200 gallons a day, I set a 64k softener to 36k and 9.5 lbs salt and it works perfectly so far but the water is very hard here at 25 grains). I have had it for 1 month and hoping it last 10 years like the other one. The other on blew up due to a electrical surge but I did not have a surge protecter, so I recommend you get one!

YAY! It worked!
I had an older board. it is a clack ver. 4.11 c5052704s that looked very similar. This worked. At first we had error 101 when we placed it in. We tried reconnecting it and made sure it was firmly in place because when we researched error 101 it said the PC Board not properly snapped into drive bracket:b. Properly snap PC Board into drive bracketand then Press NEXT and REGEN buttonsfor 3 seconds to resynchronize softwarewith piston position or disconnect powersupply from PC Board for 5 seconds andthen reconnect. It worked! Well worth the money and it saved us a very expensive service call. Thank you to those who answered our question.

Solved my problem
I have to say, if it wasn't for the reviews; I would have never attempted to change this board out myself.I wasn't sure if this would solve my problem, but It did; and comes programmed for suggested setting that are in the manual.Thank you,Victoria

Worked like a charm!
We had a power surge resulting from limbs hitting power lines during a recent storm. It caused the circuit board in my Avian Water Softener to stop functioning (no display at all). Replacing it with this new circuit board was easy (there are youtube videos available showing this process). Powered it up and everything is back to normal. A lot less expensive than having a service call that was quoted at more than the price of this board just to have them come out to diagnose the problem, with parts extra.

Perfect Replacement.
It definitely beats buying a whole new water softener when the stupid board goes bad on you. Just for the Perfect Replacement. Put it in turn it on configured it it works like a charm. Our unit was 10 years old and I really was not expecting to find the controller board.
