Replaced an aging amplifier on Mohu Curve 50
After adding a TiVo Roamio OTA 1 TB DVR - With No Monthly Service Fees - Digital Video Recorder and Streaming Media Player - Compatible only with HDTV Antennas (does not work with cable) to my cordcutter setup, I noticed that normally clear channels had become pixelated and unwatchable. Things had worked well for a few weeks, but this new development had come on suddenly so I started troubleshooting the issue.I tried these things before adding the Mohu Jolt to the mix, and none of them worked.1. Rescanning for channels.2. Moving my Mohu Curve 50 Indoor Amplified HDTV .3. Changing OTA antennas - used a Mohu Leaf 50 instead.4. Changed the coaxial cable.5. Attached the antenna to the back of the TV instead of the TiVo.I determined in my troubleshooting efforts that the likely issue might be that the older antenna amplifier was kaput. I decided to replace it with the Jolt and rescan for channels. Some of the issues with pixelation were resolved immediately, but a few channels remained either pixelated or not coming in. I then decided to move the antenna one more time (down a wall about 3' from the highest placement that had worked for the past three years...) and rescan. THAT did the trick!I now have all the channels I expected to have - the major ones in HD plus some others - and a stable signal for recording shows over air with my TiVo Roamio OTA.The Mohu Jolt TV Antenna Amplifier does make a difference and if you have an older Mohu 50 Leaf or Curve which shipped with the old 'black' one it may have just lived out its lifespan (as I believe mine did) and replacing it with the Jolt will likely restore its performance. I'm pleased it worked out for my setup and would recommend it to others, but be aware that some of your issues may require troubleshooting as I had to do with mine.NOTE: If you're considering cutting the cord, but aren't sure how to do it, check out my book: Simple Guide to Over-the-Air Free TV (Non Technical Guide To Cord Cutting Book 1) .

Didn't do much and died after 1.5 years
We have a Mohu outdoor antenna 50 miles out of Los Angeles. Some of the channels don't work especially after 7PM. Got this signal booster. It was easy to install. It helped a little but the difference was not that much. Unfortunately the unit died after about 1.5 years. It seems to be the unit failure as I tried another power supply and still no power up. The warranty is out so I am out of luck. Not recommended as a verified user here.

Try more expensive amplifiers first, you may be more satisfied....
Mohu has pretty products, but not necessarily providing the function you are looking for. Case in point: The Leaf Antenna that I have plugged their Jolt Amplifier into. The Leaf Antenna, a passive indoor OTA digital antenna, is pretty good all by itself. I purchased this "Amplifier" to attempt to receive the stations that were getting pulled in that were unwatchable. They frequently had signal dropping issues, stuttered frame by frame picture, etc. After getting the amplifier the channels that came in that were watchable came in clearly, and couple of the Major Broadcasting channels (not all the secondary channels in the same range) came in much clearer. The problem is the filtering of this device actually completely drops the channels that you can't get a good signal for. The result is actually less channels to watch. The ones you get do get marginally clearer, but I see no "amplification" going on to watch the channels that came in poorly.*****Update****** Mohu is a tremendous company, and has a great customer service team. After looking for answers from their support team on their own website, they immediately determined that the amplifier must be defective, asked for my invoice, and immediately shipped a second amp to try out. They didn't make me do an RMA or anything, just sent it right out no questions asked. That is a company that cares about their customers.Unfortunately, I ended with the same results as above from the new amplifier. Their antenna just works better without the amplifier. That being said, everyone's situation is different. I am not knocking their product at this point, because it is possible that based on my location and types of stations, and the lay of land, I may not get good results with this amplifier. That is why I did not give it a One Star; the company really did try to help without being annoying, and trusted their customer enough that they just took my word for it that it was a bad item. Amazon, as always, was an easy return, provided free shipping back to them, so I was out nothing for the purchase except for some frustration. Thanks to Amazon and Mohu for making valiant attempts to satisfy customers.I am not going to return this, because we are now at least able to pull in 4 of the major broadcasting companies in our area relatively clearer, out of the 15 possible channels. All the ancillary channels have garbage on them anyway, four of them are shopping channels, and are really just used to sell more advertising on. It also may provide a boost to a larger, possibly Roof/Attic mounted antenna that I am considering in the future. So, if you are looking for a useful indoor passive Antenna, I would recommend the Leaf from Mohu, but if you are trying to amplify something, I would not recommend purchasing this, you may have better luck with a more powerful, and less pretty, solution.

The earlier versions lasted longer.
Works great for a few months, then begins to lose channels. The first one I had lasted for years before it began to fade. This last one hasn't lasted even one. Also, there was a problem with ordering on Amazon: the amplifier was missing from the box, all that arrived was a cord with a bus plug at each end. Mohu made it right. All in all, a good product and yes I'll keep on buying.

Works fine
We needed an in-line amplifier for a second TV so that we could have two TVs attached to the same digital antenna. It's doing a great job.

Definite improvement
Considerable jump in signal. Some channels that were borderline are comfortably in high signal percentages now. I waited until it was on sale since the price is a bit of a rip off considering the amount of electronics involved. Only grevience is price or i'd give it a 5

Does it really work?
I can not validate if the amplifier work as advertised. It is a neat design. I could not get a clear signal until switched to a longer RG6 cable and stretch the cable to get a clear signal. Ideally I would prefer the cable to be tucked away behind the tv but I guess this is better than the alternative of a home made coat hanger and a wooden club.

Does not amplify anything. It doesn't works. Looks like damaged.
I bought this Moho MH-110569 amplifier to make more stronger weak channels that I have. After connect the amplifier and plug-in power this device did nothing. I have the same results with the amplifier or without the amplifier. I don't know if they sent me a damaged unit. There's not power led, so you don't know if it's on or off. I connected it to the provider power adaptor and to the USB TV connector, the results are the same, nothing !.I have another Amplifier in other TV (RCA Digital Amplifier) and that one is working fine the weak channels there are strong now (and it's half of the price).

Disappointing product. Does not seem to boost signal by any noticeable amount. I have a decent OTA signal that needs a bit of help sometimes. Mohu Jolt showed no improvement
