NeoCellSuper Collagen Type 1 and 3 Powder - 7 oz

I have been using this collagen since March. I like to mix it with orange juice as my pre-workout snack and I am not hungry for at least 2 to 2.5 hours, so it is a good snack. It is easy to mix as it dissolves completely and I can't detect any flavor. It has a bit of a smell but it doesn't bother me. I have noticed my skin a bit more moisturized and my hair (wanted and unwanted) and nails growing a bit faster. I have not experienced any pain relief (I have chronic back pain and fibromyalgia) but I have seen a difference in my gut. It seems as though it has balanced me in that department (I tend to go from constipation to diarrhea constantly, but this collagen has helped me with that). And the price is right! I am glad it is a once a day only dose. It's easier for me to remember to take it if it is just once a day rather than 2 or 3. This is a good product and it was delivered before the expected date. I like this product because it is odorless and tasteless, so I can mix it in smoothies and soups! I cannot swallow large tablets/capsules, so this has been a Godsend. I'm mostly using it for the osteoarthritis in my joints. I was told recently that I needed a total hip replacement, but would more than likely (at my younger age) have to do the procedure twice--being that the replacement "parts" only last anywhere from 10 to 15 years! I'm not in severe pain, so I am postponing surgery, and I CERTAINLY do not plan on doing this procedure TWICE in one lifetime! I decided to try this product, and am extremely happy with it. No miracle worker, in my case, but the pain is less intense. As an added bonus, my hair appears to NOT be falling out as much as before--after brushing or blow drying. This is a plus, because with Hashimoto's my hair and skin have been extremely dry. I don't think I have used this product long enough for it to really kick in, but I have seen some obvious benefits. Only have used in off-and-on for about 2 - 3 months. I believe that if I used it regularly, there'd be a remarkable difference. Hence, I will write more at a future date, for a follow-up.

I started taking this product daily in my morning coffee. It desolves easily and fast with hot water. It is tasteless. I have been using Neocell Collagen for 4 months now and my hair is thicker and shinier. My nails are thicker and grow longer than before as well. I also noticed my skin is softer and is no longer dry. My face looks like it is glowing and I've been asked what I am doing differently, this is the only difference. I highly recommend this product. I am 35 years old and noticed fine lines around my eyes and dark circles but since I've taken this it has reduced the fine lines and lightened my dark circles. My hair already grows fast but this made it grow even faster. The overall health of my hair is the most noticeable benefit. Must take each day and be patient.

I bought this for my knees. I have runners knee from years of jogging on various surfaces (mostly pavement) and now over 10 years later I"m paying the price. After taking this product daily for 2 months, these two types of collagen have done absolutely nothing for my joints. Nothing. That alone gives this product 0 stars.However, I gave this product 3 stars because it has improved the health of a couple of things for me. My toenails have not gone without polish for more than a week during the past several years and as a result, my nails never get to "breathe" so I had a lot of discoloration. In 2 months of taking this, I took my polish off and noticed that my nails looked normal again.Another perk is that my eyebrows are growing back. Over the past few years, it became extremely noticeable that I was losing my eyebrows and I knew it had to do with my body lacking something nutritionally. Instead of trying to figure out what it was, I did what most other women have done...penciling in my eyebrows. I no longer pencil in my eyebrows. Being a vegetarian, I had no idea just how much collagen my body is not getting from my diet. That coupled with being almost 30, things have begun to change for my body.I haven't noticed much of a difference in my skin.I have since chosen a different brand that has types 1, 2 and 3 collagen in hopes of improving my knees since type 2 collagen is more for joint health.TLDR: This works really well in replenishing hair but did nothing for my joints or skin.

OMG!!! I love this product! I did tons of research on how beneficial in using collagen as a supplement. And many many doctors agree it works! You are what you eat and well what you don't. I believe that most of our aging is from our own bad habits! If you smoke, or eat crappy or too much sugar or you don't get a variety in your diet and you are seeing lines, how about your joints??! I am only a few weeks in using the collagen supplement. But I have noticed some results. And I am sure when I will see even more results. Beauty starts with in.. eat right, take your vitamins and supplements, don't smoke and work out daily even if its just 20 mins! Its all good for your health and your skin. If you are like me, worry about your worry lines, crows feet, etc?? LOL Then get this product. They delivered it super fast and I will order more when I am out! I love this product!
