Maypole1800 kg Recovery Tow Pole with Spring Damper

I had only just taken delivery of this product when I was forced into using it to tow my nephew's car home. As you can see from the photograph, that first and only usage saw the centre bar buckle and one end of the sections that attach to the towing eye hooks, buckle and actually break. Money down the drain on a poor quality product. What is worse is that this bar is really dangerous to use. Fortunately, my nephew and I suffered no serious injury and our vehicles weren't damaged.

bought after car broke down with a blocked fuel filter. came in handy when the brakes failed 3 months later and was towed to the garage with it. 10/10 as it fits behind front seats or across boot without taking up much room.a hell of a lot cheaper than a recovery truck.

High Quality Tow Pole in a nice carry bag, a must these days as it is now illegal to use tow ropes in Ireland.Very sturdy pole and spring no need for the car been towed to use brake as this tow pole allow's the main vehicle brake for both just give enough judgement for the extra weight for stopping time.I removed a star as the strap on the carry bag came lose due to bad stitching on first use, need's better stitching for the weight of the tow pole.
