The brush heads are superbly dense, well cut, smooth, and soft, as well as sized just right (larger than they appear online). There are three different brush sizes for concealing, contouring and full face MU application, which make this feel like a complete face brush set. The sturdy, inline handle extending straight out from the back of the brush head, not only makes holding the brush and buffing with it more comfortable than with a tooth-brush style handle, but it also allows easier control of buffing pressure resulting in less stress on the hand and wrist.After buffing extensively with the largest brush, there was no fall out of bristles nor any breaking of bristles. These are well made and seem like they will last a long time. There is nothing negative to say about this set. It is one of the few brush sets I have purchased online that has properly well cut, even bristles. There are no discernible flaws in the workmanship of these brushes, unlike many others I have purchased and been disappointed in.Additionally, in contrast to so many other brushes I have purchased online, there is absolutely no noticeable bad odor emitting from these brushes or the packaging. Another plus, in harmony with EcoTools philosophy, is the packaging is also minimal, but adequate, making it better for the environment. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this set.NEIGHBORLY-FRIENDLY EXTRA PRO TIP FOR NATURAL SKINCARE LOVERS: Have an oily T-zone? A skin care tip I learned as a model: Instead of using harsh, skin-stripping cleansers/astringents to remove the extra oil, only to then attempt to replace the lost moisture with artificial and potentially toxic moisturizers, simply spread the natural (and free) oil to other areas of the skin that could use the extra care, like around the eyes or any drier areas. Adding a spritz of natural hydrosol or even plain water to move the oil around adds extra moisture to the skin that the natural oil will then lock in. This saves you money as well as exposure to potentially artificial and toxic ingredients found in many skin care products. The natural oil that our skin produces is the most chemically perfect oil that keeps our skin youthful, so why waste it only to replace it with something inferior. You may use clean fingers if you wish, but I am sharing this tip with you out of genuine friendly care because I also found the buffer brush in this set to be perfect for that purpose as well. The gentle buffing action with these brushes can also help increase healing blood flow to the skin, as well as provide gentle exfoliation, resulting in naturally more glowing, radiant, and firmer skin. I may purchase another set to have one dedicated to skin care and another for MU application.ANOTHER BONUS TIP: Buff in small circles instead of pulling your skin in long sweeping drags to keep from stretching out your skin. These are the best brushes I've used in a long time. They're so soft and dense. I use super stay full coverage foundation and it gave my makeup a streak free airbrushed like finish. I didn't have to blend as long either, definitely cut down time on doing my makeup. I used the medium size with my sheglam liquid blush and it blended that beautifully too. Definitely recommend :) I didn't have any shedding but when I ran my fingers across the bristles a few longer ones stuck out so I just trimmed them down with scissors, no big deal. Totally worth it!

I love EcoTools, they are always soft, work well and are inexpensive. Perfect size for applying foundation or blending. Seem durable, and no shedding after cleaning or when using.

I purchased this set because I like dense foundation brushes, and this looked like a good value. I strongly dislike the smallest brush. I've tried it a few times but it just doesn't work for me. The medium size is OK for cream bronzer/contour, but not a favorite. I mainly use the largest brush for my foundation. It applies foundation nicely. My main complaints are that it can be difficult to clean, especially if used multiple times in a row, because product kind of cakes up inside it. I've also experienced a few of the bristles shedding while using it.

As an artist, I spend a lot of money trying to find decent brushes. A YouTube artist mentioned using makeup brushes. I bought these brushes almost a year ago and I LOVE them! They don't shed and seem to be very well made, no matter how many times I wash them. Amazing quality for painting or, I'm sure for makeup purposes.Thank you.
