I was introduced to Rita's work when doing the PMP examination and found her work in that subject area to be definitively the best of all similar products.Her 'teaching' skills are just as sharp in this publication and again having purchased numerous alternative products purporting to do the same as Rita, the competition is expensive and ineffective.In hind sight all I needed was this one publication.Fabulous. I studied this while preparing for my PMI-RMP certification exam prep, overall very well written book but found it not covering PMI-RMP exam covers completely or not in full depth.However, this book was great as giving great understanding around Risk Management overall and broadly covering RMP. Cannot be used solely for prep for RMP exam though.

Great book for PMI RMP prep, and just as a generally readable book on risk management, full of good tips and advice, plus self tests. Much more readable than the PMBoK and Practice Standard books, which are really more reference books.Definitely helped me pass the RMP!

If you need to buy only one book to prepare for the PMI-RMP exam, then I would highly recommend this book. The book is well written and structured, providing many practicle examples to help the reader understand the fundamentals of Risk Management.
