Love this sprinkler. I have a square, but oddly shaped backyard because I have things in the way like my shed, patio furniture etc. Needless to say this sprinkler is pretty awesome. I simply set it in the middle of my yard and just ran it once full blast to have an idea on how far the water would reach. By doing this you also know the areas that you do not want to wet, like patio furniture, etc. Then you just adjust the sprinkler settings by moving the pegs up if you want the water to shoot low or keeping the pegs all the way down to get the furthest distance. After 2 runs and a few tweaks this bad boy is running like a charm. It waters my whole yard, everything near and far and literally skips the patio furniture and keeps spraying everywhere else. Will try and upload a video when I have time. I highly recommend this sprinkler, it's not expensive, light weight, but sturdy and does what it says its supposed to do.

This is THE BEST sprinkler!!!
We love this sprinkler. We had a newly hydroseeded yard and a dry first week and after moving several "cheap" circular spraying sprinklers around for the first two days and spraying the lawn manually - the delivery truck arrived and brought this awesome invention! The settings are really easy to use and although it looks like a lightweight plastic sprinkler, it performs like an irrigation system!! The distance it can cover is phenomenal and just but adjusting the height of the inner ring in various places around the sprinkler, you can adjust the distance of coverage. Perfect for unusual shaped yard or if you only want to target certain areas. WE LOVE IT!!

Huge Time Saver
I like this sprinkler very much. It is by far the best one we've ever owned. I've purchased and discarded countless sprinklers over the years looking for one that allows me the fewest number of moves around the yard. We have a medium to large yard (for the So Cal area; small compared to those back east for example) measuring (a guess) of about 75'x90' with a couple of areas preventing it from being a perfect rectangle causing me to move all other sprinklers owned to date no fewer than 12 times while this one does the job in 2, leaving me a couple of very small areas to hand water. At first I was afraid that our yard was too small for this sprinkler, but with a bit of practice and some good ole trial and error I have it working just fine. The issue was that for this type of sprinkler to work you have to turn the water on high enough for the pressure to allow the sprinkler to kick itself back for the return pass and in so doing I was watering the neighbor's yard as well. The issue was resolved when I adjusted the spray. This sprinkler has saved me so much time that I'm considering ordering another one in case I can't find it when this one finally wears out. I don't think that will happen any time soon though as it appears to be well built and being that it is plastic I store it on the patio away from direct sunlight.

A DIY Landscaper's Best Tool
I love this sprinkler. Amazingly versatile design, durable and very practical. Varied settings make this sprinkler multi-purpose and excellent for all areas of your yard. Great value.

Another Gilmour dud--I should have known better
Somebody please kick me if I ever buy another Gilmour pulsating type sprinkler. This sprinkler is relatively easy to set up, but it does not perform well for irrigular areas, contrary to what some have said. The worst thing about it, though, is that shortly after I stopped using it it stopped turning, rendering it useless.I have previously had four Gilmour Metal Zinc Sled Base Pulsating Head Sprinklers (Model: 967ZDGF) that I bought at Lowes. They look great and work just fine for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, but they all eventually stopped turning. Thus they are useless except to water one spot. I have some sprinklers of other kinds that keep on turning, so it is not just something strange that I am doing. I have used sprinklers for many years, and the Gilmour brand is the only one that has failed me.

works great but needs to be made from stronger/heavier material.
This thing will really help controlling you watering, but the plastic disk won't stand up to much abuse. I don't know for sure what broke mine, but my Dogs are the most likely suspects. I Broke out the "J.B. Weld" and it's back in action. I would be nice to be able to buy something like this make of metal.

Amazing sprinkler! Can adjust it so many ways, spray length as well as where to stop & return in the opposite direction. Just what I needed to water without wasting water by spraying things that don’t need watering!
