Bought it for NASCAR races,it works great. I used it at Darlington race this year. Enjoyed how well it sounded and how it blocked out the ambient noise.

This product is exactly what you need for loud event to list and communicate with other parties. The first time I used the Rugged brand was a a race I was working for NASCAR. I was able to hear and communicate with the tower and those around me with no problems.A added plus is the Aux port so you can listen to a scanner or music.

I'm going to say for $100 I expected the sound quality to be a lot better than what they actually are. I bought three of these for my side by side for when we are driving because it is so loud. With these we should be able to communicate while driving through the desert with ease. With the radio volume turned all the way up and the headset volume turned all the way up it is still not loud enough to hear someone while driving. We tested them out in our kitchen on our radio set up and only when standing in a dead quiet kitchen with both radio and headset volume maxed out you can hear what someone is saying as if you were talking normally in front of you. I truly expacted better quality for that price

Rugged is our go to for communication when we ride. These headsets are our favorite. Not only can you chat clearly in the vehicle and from bike to bike. It is great to muffler the bike noise and protect your ears. Bonus. Keeps ears clean when riding in dusty trails as well.

Works great with Kenwood 2way radio's. Plus the aux cord feature allows me to listen to music while monitoring the channel at the same time. Good fit and seems to be built very well.

Used these with a Rocky Talkie handheld for our Utv a few buddies have them as well and was nice being able to talk to all the other cars without having to stop
