Home pc
Had a 1200 back in the late 90s and it was still going strong, perfect home computer external CD drive have option for the few good CD games written for this machine.Ahead of its time back then there are still users of this system who have updated the tech and software and moved to tower casings to show the system still viable, not sure at price though.

Classic
Still have my A1200 and commandor 64 with monitor. Yet too many years have gone by to revive this computer. If this company was asking £100 that would be more than enough.Still good to play games and use red sector demo maker.

You so funny
You must be on drugs a 1000pound for a amiga good look you need it. I have one and know its not worth that much. Unless its a 100% brand new never been opened or used and it was a model that was rare.

At that price your joking
I remember the miggy A1200 as they were called back in the day and I had mine for word processing but with a bit of software trickery I could read and write PC disks the blue ones so if I did a document on the Amiga I could print it out on the PC. I even had mine networked up to a PC cause I had a bigger Hard drive in the Amiga. These machine were £399 back in the day and that was a lot of money back then. It is a shame that greedy people are trying to rip people off. For £900 I would expect monitor and accelerator card with at least 32mb I would probably consider it oh a shed load of games.

A classic gaming comsole
I love my Commodore Amiga series, i own both the 500 and 1200 editions and find both very good. You must know that these systems are vintage and therefore only play OLD GAMES!!! some people are under the illusion that this is a computer pc that will go on the internet and work like a little modern machine, therefore tainting the reputation with stupid reviews about "a mistake to purchase and lesson learned" what idiot would think that this would do more than what it says on the box? Overall if you are thinking of purchasing one of these machines look on youtube and review sites to make up your own mind, don't let others spoil your decision.

Good computer but beware sellers trying to make a quick buck.
These are great retro machines and were so far ahead of their time back in the day. They have a great cult following still and are popular if you know where to look. I loved my original machines back in the 90's and have once again got Amiga computers. There is still so much they are capable of doing if you have the correct knowledge or add-ons. Accelerators and CF drive modules are being made so plenty of support still. The only negative is people are now trying to take advantage of the retro scene and are heavily over inflating prices to the purists trying to make a quick buck. The purists are now recognising this fact and are refusing to buy over priced equipment so hopefully the prices will once again become reasonable and help these machines live on. They are not as rare as some sellers make you believe so look around and you will find a decent priced one out there. Mine was well under half the price being bandied about by some people.
