Old-School Camera With a Modern Twist
It seems most of the issues are either user error, or the customer didn’t read the whole description. This is a POLAROID FILM camera, not a DSLR. The photos that come out are Polaroid quality and it may take experimenting with pack of film to get used to. Expect these photos to look like photos taken on a Polaroid in 1985.Now here’s the goods:1. The double exposure feature is really cool.2. The switchable lenses are a fantastic addition to the old style, but be sure you’re using them appropriately for the best results.3. The exposure compensation switch is easy to use and seems to work just fine.4. The camera comes with a quick-start guide, but the best part of this is on the back: a roughly 15”x18” yellow flyer/poster with a diagram of the camera and a key to tell you what the lights mean.5. This camera does come with a strap. It’s not super comfortable, but it’s definitely the same as the ones from the late 1970’s. I did have to sear the ends of mine to prevent fraying and I recommend anyone who buys this and chooses to use the strap to do the same.6. It feels very sturdy and relatively durable. It also feels high quality in your hand (for a Polaroid).7. The Bluetooth settings in this are really cool, easy to use, and function as advertised.8. *in blinded confusion* Flash works!9. This camera does NOT automatically save digital images to your phone, but it does provide a scanner in the app. It takes an image of your Polaroid photo and saves it, rather than actually scanning, but it recognizes tilt (to avoid glare) and corrects for it. It may take a few tries, but it does work. I’d like to see this improved upon, but it’s a good starting place.10. This camera is mostly relying on nostalgia, so if you’re buying this for a child that just wants to take a photo and see it immediately, they’ll likely lose interest if they have a camera phone or if they’re not interested in photography or the nostalgia factor.11. Don’t waste your money on 600 film for this camera (unless you have other cameras that use it and you just want to buy one kind of film). The only difference between 600 and I-Type is that the 600 film contains a battery for cameras without an internal power source and it’s a bit more expensive. I-Type film works just fine.12. If you’re thinking about getting the OneStep2, I highly recommend spending the extra coin for the OneStep+. It’s definitely worth it for the extra features. All in all, I love this camera. I haven’t had any problems yet. Everything performs as advertised without fail and I’m very pleased with its performance. I’m a photographer and artist, so it’s cool to see that Polaroid is back and its fun to have a physical photograph to work with when you’re done. I see a lot of people are buying it for their kids, and I think that’s cool, but there are a lot of negative reviews because kids get bored with it. I’d imagine that’s true, as children with camera phones are getting younger and younger, but don’t let their negative reviews scare you. When I bought this, I expected a Polaroid with a few extra modern features. That is exactly what I received, if not a little more.

Great buy
Perfect carry size. Pictures come out clean. The person I gifted it to loved it and uses it all the time. I would not be able to review any other qualities since I do not own it. Other than that, I RECOMMEND.

Feature-rich (New Classic) Polaroid
This is a great Polaroid, rich with features (when using the Polaroid Originals app), and easy to use and maintain. Be sure to order film directly from Polaroid, as they tend to store it at cooler temperatures and pack it with insulating bubble wrap when shipped. This camera’s got a lot under the hood with regards to the app. Haven’t tried light painting yet, but the double exposure works great (my only gripe is that you can’t use double exposures the way most old Polaroids do, it’s a feature exclusive to the app), as does the fully manual mode. The additions of the light meter and second lens are ace.If you’re looking for a feature heavy Polaroid, and don’t mind using your phone while framing your shot, get this camera and use the app. You’ll unlock this camera’s full potential and get more from each shot. If you don’t want to fuss with your phone and just want an updated old school Polaroid, the OneStep 2 seems like a good fit, although I don’t own one. This camera reminds you how fun it can be to own a Polaroid in the digital era. The app scans photos pretty well, which is especially handy for social media.Great camera.

Learning curve but worth it!
Ive been wanting a Polaroid camera for a while now and I finally splurged and bought this one despite the mediocre reviews. There is a learning curve but it seems all the bad reviews are just people who didn't relize how film cameras work and how sensitive they can be. It took me about one pack of film to get used to whats too much light and too little and adjusting exposure. This is my new favorite thing and i found a hobby I can stick with for a long time.(Lost a star because it did jam and I lost 3 frames from the jam and light leaks but havent had an issue since)

Great memories, on hand!
Late one afternoon, I passed by my grandfather's home office and spotted a Polaroid camera. I can't recall the particular model now, but when I was a kid, I was amused by the charm of having an instant photo right out of the camera. We still needed to wait, of course, for the film to develop, but that made the experience all the more exciting. In a spirit of whimsy, I bought this camera, and if you like to have photos on hand instead of in bits (digital bits) then you should definitely buy this as well. The camera is built to last, it has just enough added technology to take away the guessing (how many photo's are left) that might leave some anxiety, while still having the low tech features that made photography an art. It requires skill, an attainable skill at that, in order to frame and compose your subject and be aware of the surrounding lighting. The addition of the bluetooth connection helps with remote manual control.Strongly recommend this product!

Great gift and works like a charm!
My fiancée loved her instant camera, so I got her this Polaroid OneStep+ as a Xmas gift. It’s such an upgrade! The classic Polaroid look you knew and loved, but with all the touches for a 21st century photographer. I was worried it might be more difficult to use than her current one, but the camera is pretty straightforward and easy-to-use (just remember to let the film develop according to the instructions). Even I can use it haha! Also, just a quick aside - if you’re not sure which to get, I’d personally recommend this OneStep+ because the app is super cool! You can pretty much manipulate your photos like you would on a DSLR (e.g. light trails, mess with the exposure, etc.) and control the camera from your phone. Totally worth going with the OneStep+ and it makes it feel more of a futuristic version of a classic Polaroid.10/10 would buy again
