Planet Java Decaff Smooth Roast Coffee Beans (4x1 Kilo)

Received this delivery a day late. The first thing I noticed about these beans was how dark they were. They were roasted till almost black and had an oily appearance. The excellent flavour I have grown to expect from Columbian beans was completely masked by a burnt over roasted taste. Having tried espresso, filter, and French press versions of this coffee, without producing a palettable brew, I consigned these beans to the bin. Lesson learned, I'm going back to my old supplier, who supplies decaff Columbian beans roasted medium to allow the wonderful flavours to come through in the cup. Sorry A1 but I won't be buying these again.
