Best gift of the year
I find it a hundred percent more interesting than sudoku...and more engrossing than crossword puzzles though I do enjoy doing them.A wonderful gift for people who are housebound or confined to their rooms....even for those who are very active.

Excellent!
I got used to Codeword from the tabloid, Mail Today. Actually, Codeword was the only reason I subscribed to that. Now, after this book I don’t need it anymore.

Good puzzles, bad binding and paper
The puzzles are good, but the paper quality and binding of the book are not great. When I tried to erase anything, the paper almost tears. The leaves are coming out as well. The overall quality of the book is not great.

Too easy
Same words used in several puzzles. No challenge at all even in the "difficult" ones. Good size. Book difficult to hold open with one hand

Codeword puzzles.
The Times newspaper put together this book of codewords. The words are tricky enough to make this book fun and challenging to solve!! I loved every minute of solving pleasure!!

Fill in crossword puzzles using only numbers -- no clues
These games are great if you love crossword puzzles and words themselves. They are very tricky. Each puzzle is set up like a crossword puzzle, and uses all 26 letters. The squares have numbers in them, and by matching the numbers with a letter, you can solve the puzzle. I found it hard at first, but the more you complete, the more familiar you become with generalized uses of letters, and that helps solve the puzzle. They provide you with a few letters to start with, and then you complete the rest as you try to figure out which words correspond to the given letters.

I wanted a challenge
This is a great book as I like code words so I thought I would give these ago. I haven’t done many but they are enjoyable but getting harder

Challenging enough not to bore one
Thought the puzzles were engaging, even the easy ones. The only regret is the paper quality of the pages. The type of paper used is newsprint which smudges a bit.
