Great for nursing home

I took a risk being the first person to buy and review this cable lock. This version seems to be the one with flexible ends which helps with our curved remote. I installed the cable lock in our couch console yesterday and everything seems ok. The picture is accurate to the product. I do wish it started with a little bit more slack but I'm sure the coils will become looser over time.My only real gripe with it is the cable comes out of the top of the pad instead of out of the side. The latter seems like it would be less intrusive, especially because I'm using it on the top side of my remote but placed at the bottom.EDIT: I forgot to mention that the circular mount was a little too large for the area of the remote that we chose. The mount pad was trimmed using scissors which worked great.EDIT 2: It's been a couple of months now and the cable lock is still going strong with use each day from myself and my family. The coils have loosened and the cable coming from the top of the remote has flattened enough to where it's not really a concern anymore. We love this thing, the couch has not ate the remote since installing this.

Works great. I'll never lose my bed remote again. I'll but another for my husband and the TV remote. Worth the money.

This is a must purchase if you have a family member who can’t find the remote. Perfect for people in a skilled home. The remote is will never make it to the washer again

This TV remote control cable offers solid security for keeping your remote safe from being misplaced or lost, especially when you have kids. It restricted the mobility of my remote, forcing me to keep it on the table rather than having it conveniently by my side. If the cable were longer, it would greatly enhance the usability and convenience of this otherwise effective product.

I bought this because it was impossible to keep a controller in our family room without someone taking it to use in their bedroom. I had enough and I searched Amazon and found this!I saw reviews where it showed a broken cable.. but I took a chance anyway.It's held up exceptionally well, it's been stretched pretty far and I've only had slight peeling around the edge of the controller, but it has yet to unstick altogether.If it should break at some point I will update this. But as of now, I do recommend it.

I’m a mom of four and my kids are constantly losing the remote (My husband and I aren’t blameless). Nonetheless, we needed a solution and these are a game changer. I bought one and it’s absolutely amazing so I went ahead and bought another for the children’s TV. these would be great for securing other small items to a designated area as well but for now, I am just using it for the remotes. would definitely recommend and will definitely be buying more!

We ordered this to attach to the head of our bed to keep track of the remote. The cord is really short and evert time we would try to pull on it, it would detach from either the bed or the remote! We trashed it the second night!
