I grabbed the Simply 20x30x1 Air Filter MERV 8, MPR 600 (6 pack), and honestly, it’s like my HVAC system got a facelift. I don’t know how they work their magic, but they do.The filters themselves are sturdy but not too bulky, and they fit perfectly (which is a win in the world of air filters). I usually buy a different brand of filter from Amazon which is also sold in 6-pack. I decided to buy this one since this was a bit cheaper. I was pleasantly surprised that the filers came individually wrapped even though this had a lower price. The box was slightly damaged but the affected filter is still usable, just a little crease in the cardboard frame of the filter.

We've been using these for years and they work great. We have dogs and a macaw so the filter gets a good workout. The air quality is fine, even with one household member having asthma. Like others, the last order had some corner damage from handling or shipping. I gave it 4 stars for that reason. Somehow, Amazon needs to figure out a way to package these so they arrive undamaged. I was able to straighten it out good enough to use or I would have returned them.

My 50 year old house in SC has odd sized vents, 10 inch X 24 inch, and filters are hard to find in stores to fit. I love the quality of these for the price. I like having the quantity handy for quick change outs. If inside air is more polluted than outside, we are breathing that, so I want to open my windows often and keep clean filters rotating into the vents.
