Easy pairing, quick connection, no more wires!
Works great. Automatically connects and starts Android Auto when I get in the car. Pairing was very easy. Much easier and faster than I expected. For the price this is a great unit.

Turning an older radio into a new one!
The item was delivered right on time. The initial installation is extremely easy (almost a plug-and-play), and works perfectly! I literally just plug it into my car, and my phone connects in mere moments. This made my slightly older radio that required a USB cable to run Android Auto into a wireless awesome machine! There is no loss of sound, data, speed, or anything else that I've noticed, so I could not be happier!

It Works!
I got a new car 18 months ago and had intermittent problems connecting to Android Auto. The dealer replaced the USBs, but the problem still existed, using many different cords. I have had no connection problems since I got this adapter. Well worth it.

This can address Your Apple CarPlay / Android Auto Situation
Wireless Connectivity: A Review ofWireless CarPlay Adapter– Android Auto Wireless Adapter, 5.8GHz Wi-Fi Plug & Play,Mini and Stable iOS 10+/Android 10+, Fast Auto-Connect for Cars 2016+ (1Pcs)From: ZOUHOEIn today's connected world, our smartphones have become an extension of our lives, and integrating them seamlessly into our cars is more important than ever. While many new vehicles come with built-in Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, they often require a wired connection to function correctly. This is where wireless adapters come into play, promising to cut the cord and offer a truly hassle-free experience. Not so much for me; it's the lady who needs the convenience, so that's what needs to happen. I recently acquired the Zouhoe wireless CarPlay/Android Auto adapter, and after extensive testing, here is my review.First Impressions and SetupThe adapter itself is compact and sleek enough, blending in easily with the car's black interior. Installation entailed plugging it into the USB-A port: straightforward. After plugging it in, the adapter initially took a few moments to boot up. Her car's system needed to connect to the phone via Bluetooth. Finding it as discoverable, launching Android Auto, and then pairing it with my Google Pixel took a little while (a couple of unplugs and reboots), but I eventually managed to connect. So long as I continued to use my Pixel, there was no problem. Then I tried to connect it to my lady's iPhone via Apple CarPlay. Essentially mirroring the process I followed for the Google Pixel and Android Auto. It took a couple of reboots of the infotainment system, but eventually connected.Performance and ResponsivenessThe connection was not consistently stable for either phone at first. The car's infotainment system can boot slowly (20-40 seconds) or quickly (5-10 seconds). I think this had more to do with switching back and forth between Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I tested it on both short commutes and longer road trips, and the performance with one phone is consistent, with occasional reboots.Key Features and User ExperienceAutomatic Reconnection: One of the most convenient features is its ability to automatically reconnect to my phone as soon as I start the car. No more fumbling with cables every time I get in.Dual Compatibility: The adapter switched between CarPlay and Android Auto depending on which phone was connected, which was a huge plus for us (households with different device platforms).Minimal Latency: There was virtually no delay between my input on the touchscreen and the action on the car's display, which is crucial for a smooth user experience.Compact Design: Its small size means it doesn't clutter the console or obstruct any other ports. The DownsidesWhile the experience was largely positive, there are a couple of minor points to consider:Initial Boot Time: There's a slight delay (a few seconds) when the car starts up for the adapter to fully boot and connect to the phone. This is a small trade-off for the convenience of wireless connectivity.Battery Drain: As with any wireless connection, there's a slight increase in battery drain on your phone compared to a wired connection that also charges your device. However, this can be mitigated by having a charging pad or a separate USB charger in the car. When using Android Auto, my Pixel wouldn't charge faster than the power usage (it went from 51% tp 48% in an hour on the integrated charging pad. Not bad. My phone case probably had an impact, but I'm not taking my phone out of its case over and over again.Overall VerdictThe wireless CarPlay/Android Auto adapter works. For one person with one device consistently connecting to it, it's probably just fine. If you are switching between devices or between CarPlay and Auto, be patient. In the right situation, it delivers seamless, responsive, and reliable wireless integration. The convenience of not having to plug in your phone every time you get in the car is invaluable. If you're tired of tangled wires and crave a truly modern in-car experience, I recommend investing in a quality wireless adapter. It’s a relatively small investment that yields significant dividends in convenience and enjoyment.

It really works
So far, much better than I expected. I am using it for Android Auto. I plugged it in and followed a couple of on screen instructions and it was up and running. I was pleasantly surprised that was so easy and that it worked perfectly as this unit was one of my less expensive choices. Once my car is turned on, in less than ten seconds it has connected and its ready to go. About the same time as it took when it was plugged in. Only had it for a few days so I hope it keeps working this well in the future. If there is any change, I will post an update but very satisfied now.

Does NOT work properly with Android Auto, no BT for phone calls!
Does NOT work properly with Android Auto. My Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra pairs over Bluetooth just fine to the device, then connects via Wifi for Android Auto as expected, but then the device immediately disconnects from Bluetooth and won't allow me to connect to it. The result is that Android Auto *appears* to work - screen, apps, etc, but critically you can't use it for a phone call - AA actively tells me when I try to switch audio of my call to it, saying there is no bluetooth connection available.Wireless Android Auto *requires* the phone to be connected to *both* Wifi *and* Bluetooth simultaneously; phone calls can't simply use the Wifi connection. I have several other cars with wireless AA built in and can absolutely confirm that all of them remain connected to *both* Wifi and Bluetooth of my phone simultaneously for full functionality. I've tried factory resetting the device, re-pairing, etc, but the same situation always happens. Also, to be clear, I cleared out the direct Bluetooth association with my phone on both the car stereo and my phone, so an old connection with the car is not getting in the way. I did try the path of connecting to the car for BT and this device for wireless AA, but then I can't use Google Assistant because AA can't get control of the mic because the car is holding onto it directly.Even worse, I tried to find a way to contact support before writing this review, but the only options are to use their troubleshooting steps which don't help this situation, so I have nobody to contact. Seller, please get in touch with me or this will be going back. For what it's worth, my car is a Volkswagen GTI with an RCD330 head unit that fully supports AA. When I connect via cable directly, everything works.

Works....kinda
The good: connects tirelessly to android autoThe bad: Slight delay/latency...not terrible but noticeableNo audio. When connected via usb, android auto works perfectly, when I use this device, there is no sound for any of my AA apps lole Spotify. It shows that its playing but theres no soundConnection speed: they advertise that it connects in a few seconds after initial setup. For me the secondary (and following) connections took upwards of 30s with my S24+I can see from other reviews that it works fine for others, but for me it didn't have all the functionality and features I would've liked
