fits and works. didn't need the throttle body hose
easy Install. fits and works well.I was able to get the throttle body heater hose off the top of this without breaking it by removing this part last. with all the bolts out of the housing you can turn the whole housing upside down and insert two small flat screwdrivers Into the sides of the throttle hose and release the clamp without damaging it.

Cheap price, great product
Did exactly what I needed to do. My ac wasn’t blowing properly and this fixed the issue. Definitely a lot cheaper than brand name stores...Update- one year later I am now replacing it again. I noticed my heat wasn’t blowing properly, and then I started smelling weird fumes. Took it to a body shop and walahhh here’s the problem.

2012 Chevy Cruze LS - Trouble Code P0597
The check engine light came on. P0597 code came up on the OBD-II diagnostic gadget that I have. It pointed to a possible thermostat and/or sensor. I could replace just the thermostat but I read the online forums and others replaced the thermostat but the problem stayed. So I decided to buy the whole thermostat housing assembly that includes the thermostat and sensor in the same unit. Dealer price for the same unit is too much. Installed it 2 weeks ago. Check engine light has not come back on. Works great!

Easy to Replace — Updated
The update after 3 years: the temperature sensor on this part started to leak.Experience with the part:The fact that this part is half made of plastic and is under constant pressure should make you feel uneasy. The reason that I needed to replace this housing was because the same type design was leaking from one of the screw housings. See below on what is not provided with this part. I don’t know how long this part will last! Replacement overall is an easy job to do, should take you between 1 to 3 hours to do. I broke the heater inlet pipe when removing it from the old housing and had to wait for one a few days. I also had to install twice because I didn’t replace the seals around the oil cooler pipe.Steps:Get these in addition to this part:1- ACDelco 25192905 GM Original Equipment Throttle Body Heater Inlet Pipe (you’ll most likely break the old one when detaching it from the housing)2- Pipe seal and O-ring for oil cooler pipe (around $6 from dealer, it’s impossible to seal this pipe without)3- Made for GM coolantHere is a step by step how to replace:1- Disconnect the battery (not just for safety, but to register this new part with the engine computer, if you don’t, radiator fan will keep running)2- Drain the radiator, if you just remove the hoses, most of the coolant will run out anyways, but this is a good opportunity to flush your radiator clean by draining it from the bottom3- Remove the heat shield on the engine by removing the 4 screws, pull the dipstick tube out, pull out the shield.4- Remove the 2 electric connectors to the assembly5- Remove the throttle body heater inlet pipe from the thermostat housing6- Remove the 4 hoses from the thermostat housing by removing the clamps, and mark them if you need to7- Unbolt the bracket connected to the housing8- Remove the 4 screws on the right to detach the thermostat housing from the engine9- Remove the thermostat housing with the oil cooler pipe connected10- Remove the oil cooler pipe from the old housing replace the O-ring and the seal, connect to the new thermostat housing11- Connect the thermostat housing.12- Connect the dipstick tube, but not the heat shield, refill the coolant reservoir, and double check everything!Turn the car on, put the car heater on high, add coolant if needed before the car gets hot, make sure the reservoir cap is fastened, let run for as long as it takes for the hearer to blow hot.13- Check the thermostat housing and both ends of the oil cooler pipe for leaks.14- If no leaks, congratulations, you’ve done a great job! Let the car cool off and put the heat shield back on. Continue to monitor the reservoir for the next few 200 or so miles.

Great price, fits perfectly
Cruze 2012 1.8l owner. My car started with coolant odors under the hood. Did some research and found that it is a common problem in these cars. Found the leak in this piece and didn’t think twice to look for it here. Was installed in 1 hour and the problem went away. I strongly recommend to change the throttle body heater inlet pipe as well since both pieces are factory defective.

Great for the price
Part fits perfectly no issue, looks exactly like the oem part . Install is a little tricky if you don't work on cars alot. Also would highly recommend ordering the throttle body inlet pipe on here or thru Chevy as I've yet seen someone remove it without cracking the grommet that goes to the thermostat housing. Would recommend this part to replace thermostat housing

Worked great and much cheaper than oem
Worked great everything lined up and I just threw it in. Took an hour or so to change. The hard part was fixing all the cracked original lines with the car. So heads up if your changing one of these go ahead and buy the other hoses before you start they will break.

Don't Buy
Had to replace thermostat & 2 sensors on housing with OE might as well buy AcDelco. Both sensors bad still had my car over heating. Put new sensors and thermostat w sensor and no more overheating don't buy.
