Fuzz Moo Fuzz

This was sort of an experimental purchase for me,First off let me state that I am a BASS Guitar Player and have used all sorts of equipment over the years.Not too long ago I switch ed from a multi FX Loop Stomp Box Effects setup in front of my amp to a more streamlined MultiFX unit and was having a ball with it.I have since downsized again and am running direct most gigs with a SansAmp ParaDriver DI.I also use the ParaDriver in front of my amp when I am monitoring on stage.The FuzzMoo is very impressive sounding for the money to say the least. I can run this unit in front of my SansAmp for a nice and tidy floor based tone rig and It works great running into my amp as well.Surprisingly it works tremendously well running into Software Amp Simulators. It is BigMuff heaven!The FuzzMoo really works great with my P Bass and gives a very nice rounded out bottom end.I was hoping that this pedal wouldn't be a bad purchase and I am glad to say that it is not. It is extremely rugged and sounds amazing. I will be looking into more MOEN products in the future. (Their FX Loop Pedals look crazy awesome)

Pros:Cheap!Simple operationBuilt like a tankLooks "botique" without the botique priceSounds pretty darn goodMaybe roughly comparable to a Big MuffCons:Not incredibly versatile or wildNot a Zvex Fat Fuzz Factory (but what is really)I really do dig this pedal, especially for under $50. Really great value honestly. I've been able to attain unique fuzz from it that I couldn't otherwise reproduce with my Mesa Dual Rectifier. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but it probably won't be the last fuzz pedal I own. If you don't have a fuzz and you don't have a lot of cash for a fuzz, this is a good way to go.

Love it. The perfect fuzz sound - exactly what I want out of a fuzz pedal. It's warm, fat, and gets along great with all my guitars.

Great, clean, not noisy,good sustain, plays well with others, I tried a lot of Fuzz pedals, this one is it.I use it with Bass only, good lows , Moen uses good circuits, and the price is right.

I've had this pedal over a year and I'm still quite happy with it. Great for a warm fuzz tone but you can also tame it for a cutting overdrive tone if you want to go in that direction. Its built solid and I expect to last many years.

It's basically a black Russian Big Muff, but much cheaper. Definitely worth your money. On the off chance you get a defective one, i suggest returning and getting another. Chinese knockoffs can vary in quality, but when you get a good one, it's well worth it.
