YES! THE GREATEST OF ALL TESTER. . . A++
Excellent Digital Tester. . . Super Accuracy Performance. . . We had it for 2 years ago and we use it a lot to check and verify each Electronic part or device that we order and it tells us if the part is OK or if it goes outside the manufacturer's specification parameters..."Great precision in relation to ESR". . . And the most we like about it is that it doesn't need batteries the meter, we only connect it to any USB and it charges quite quickly and the charge lasts for a long time... With a single charge we have tested more than 150 pieces and continues with something charging, so the battery is excellent too...I recommend that all those fans & hobbyists of Electronics buy that tester model... It has all the necessary information to give you a complete reading of the piece that you are testing and verifying... 2 years with us and continues working as fresh new from the factory...Was worth every penny we invested in this TC1 tester. . . Very happy with it!!!Also fast shipping too with no issues and packed safely. We recommended 100% . . . A++

Incredibly useful (with a few quirks).
While Hfe accuracy can jump around (while keeping the same transistor in this device untouched for hours), this device is a must have for any electronic hobbyist or anyone working with electronics. It is especially useful for determining NOS part orientation, poorly marked components, or troubleshooting vintage equipment for restoration. The accuracy seems to go down as the charged-power drops -- you will notice the accuracy drop before it loses charge, as the reference voltage seems tied to the available charge. The jumper clips are the cheapest possible and will break easily because they are poorly designed and manufactured. I use it all the time with no regrets.

Excellent Product. It Can Replace the Big Bulky Testers You Have
Excellent product !Very accurate and simple. Capacitors, resistors, diodes, NPN transistors, PNP transistors, etc. No problem.Just hook it up and this baby will figure it out for you :)I wish the transistor test could be more detailed like those $100 Peak testers. For very little money, it replaced my big, bulky, turn-the-dial testers - the ones you have to turn the dials and pray it’s in the right setting things.Leads or no leads (direct) - accurate.Great product!

Amazing piece of tech for under $30.
Great 2nd test instrument after buying a quality DVM you can trust and believe.....Measured every semiconductor, resistor and inductor I threw at it. Charging is kind of funky though. The charge indicator's LED needs some software damping. It toggles between charging (RED) and charged (GREEN) for the longest time, which is kind of obnoxious but not in anyway a reason not to buy one. 3/18/21 BTW, battery life isn't the greatest. The battery self discharge rate is quite high when not being used, unlike a high quality cell phone battery. Or it's software routine is suboptimal and it's not putting itself in deep sleep mode. This device is derived from an open software project on the internet, it's based on an Atmel microcontroller. 328 I believe. You could upload your own firmware or upgrade to to newer version.

I didn't know I needed this until I purchase it.
This is a very useful device, especially for the money. It is very accurate, although I wish the range was a bit wider. Surprising feature is the IR sensor and decoder. This is useful for checking remote controls and especially useful if you have Arduino projects that use a remote. Have checked many a transistor for a blown amp I'm working on.

Very useful little tester while it lasted
This very handy little tester has helped me to identify and test numerous and random active semiconductor and passive components over the 4 years I have owned it. It has recently gone wonky and now thinks good transistors are just diode pairs, or resistors, or other such nonsense. Not complaining at all - for the initial low price it was still a very good deal while it lasted. I will buy another one like it.

Good quality inside and out
The interface is easy and user-friendly with pleasant coloration, and having only a single button only adds to the simplicity because nothing else is really needed. When I took it apart to look inside, the screen had its own PCB backing to prevent damage (whereas other Chinese component testers have bare LCD screens that are easy to damage if not handled properly). It's built around an Atmega329P and has exposed (though unsoldered) both an ISR and JTAG interface making it very hack-friendly if the need ever arises. Interestingly, the included battery is a tiny 250 mAh at 3.7V, but even that should let the unit last for months or even years given how little power it uses. Overall I'm VERY impressed with the build/design quality and ease of use, and the IR decoder was an extra bonus I didn't realize it had until after I got it.

Weak Battery
The battery is only 350mah and would only charge to a capacity of 280mah. It was so useless, I had to buy one with a higher capacity. Now the tester is no longer dead when I need to use it. The functionality of the button is erratic in that sometimes it will measure, or it will turn off, or the display will stay on for a longer time. The IR function works well but will activate or give incorrect results if the tester is close to a fluorescent light; such as a desk lamp.It didn't appear to correctly identify a dual-gate MOSFET when I tested it with one gate at a time; no provision for two gates.
