Can this be used with a inverter

The DR7-12 battery can be used with an inverter. The length of time it will work depends on the what's connected to the inverter output.

I have two old batteries with my gogo scooter, would i need two of this one and is it suitable

how much does this battery weigh?

I've weighed an old battery of the same capacity at 2.5 Kgs. The new duracell batteries are installed and not easy to remove.

How do you plug in an extension lead.

This is a bare battery with two quarter inch male spade terminals. You can make up whatever cables you need for your installation. Just make sure the wires have sufficient current carrying ability and are securely crimped to the female spade terminals. This type of battery can supply a high short circuit current which will happily cook both the wiring and the battery, so an automotive type fuse in the positive wire close to the battery will protect the circuit if something goes wrong.
