Casi no puedo creer lo bien hecha que está esta serie. Los actores son increíbles, desde las reinas hasta el rey Enrique IV. Aunque es ficción, está basado en un 90% en la historia real. La vida de la Reina Isabel I de Castilla se cuenta no desde las grandes hazañas, sino desde la vida privada de cada persona.Lo que NO me ha gustado es la necesidad de denigrar a la Iglesia Católica a cada oportunidad, y lo que menos me ha gustado es la necesidad (sólo en la primera serie) de exponer escenas de sexo duro que lo hace problemático para que niños (y más de algún adulto) lo vean.La serie debería tener subtítulos en español y en inglés. No entiendo la falta de visión comercial de la distribuidora.

Magnificent series! All the actors are superb, and the production itself is splendid. It moves at a good pace and is very intense, following the actual history fairly closely (though some incidents are abbreviated or slightly altered). The music is wonderfully evocative--I suspect that the composer took some inspiration from Lord of the Rings, but that doesn't diminsh in the least its beauty. I learned about this series on a recent visit to Spain, and found a Blu-Ray copy there. Unfortunately, that version has only Spanish subtitles. But there are versions on the Internet with English subtitles, though at a lower resolution. But don't let that stop you--find them and you'll learn about one of the most remarkable women in all of history! I was not expecting anything of quality level from a made-for-TV series of nearly 50 hours. The quality is several levels above what comes from Hollywood (admittedly that's not saying much these days). I assume that the version I have is the same that Amazon is selling. It plays perfetly on my Sony Blu-Ray player.
