Yes, it really is true to taste & texture. A bit of cool water & let it sit after mixing (it takes some practice to get the thickness right) & you get actual cream cheese. Their other offerings (except the cheeses) are also great- cream, milk (not exactly on the nose, but oh, so close) are worth the investment for a vacation home, rv, boat or camping.

Q: Will this work in a cheesecake?

I used it to make a New York-style cheesecake for my 25th wedding anniversary this week. It turned out delicious!! I let the mixed cream cheese chill in the fridge about two days before I used it, and it really thickened up. Best of luck!

Q: What about adding just a bit of this to my buttercream frosing to make it a cream cheese frosting. I can't use the real cream cheese

I use a scoop full to add to my Slim Fast vanilla shake. Unbelievably good! I also added it to whipped cream and froze it in ice cube trays for sugar-free keto dessert cubes. This is my new best friend!
