The color works well, the brush is worthless. You need a good quality and firm art brush about the width of your grout lines. The color was accurate, looked just like the original Mauve. Don't recommend it for touch up or repair unless your prepared to do the whole floor. I couldn't get it to match my older mauve grout which had darkened. Aged gout matching is hard to do. Its fine for small areas IMO, if its a whole kitchen I would just re-grout since the labor is almost the same and the job will be more durable. The colorant works best if your neat and keep the excess to a minimum, other wise its easier to clean up fresh grout. The mauve gets on everything when over used, has to be cleaned up before it dries out. It has it's place, small floors in good shape where you want to change the color entirely. It does cover well in one pass IMO, I used it on sanded grout.

The product is complete garbage and absolutely worthless. Using regular food dye would give much better results and at a fraction of the cost.

I would highly recommend this product. It worked great on my floor. I couldn't find the color that was on my floor anywhere, and then I came across the colorfast grout coloring kit. I was a little nervous at first because I wasn't sure that it would work, but the color matched perfectly!
