Instructions for assembly were detailed. All the pieces were in the packaging. Overall, a big hit!

Easy to assemble but do need more than a screwdriver to get the screws through the hard plastic. We used a drill driver. Our one year old grandson is fully enjoying all of the tools and cubby holes.

Kids love and easy to set up

Amazing product. It takes a little while to ensable but it is easy to follow the instructions, the product came in a great shape, my son loves to play with it.Is amazing how the house change the color when is wet.

Instructions are photo only. The holes for screws are not pre-drilled but was able to easily assemble with a screwdriver and a little muscle. There are no nails to use the hammer on (that would be a lot of fun with a tool bench). None of the bits that came with our set fit into the drill so we can’t use that. I will contact customer service about the drill. This product is not up to the standards we have come to expect from Step2. However, the paintable birdhouse is awesome and the 2-yr-old who will be receiving this gift will probably not care about the things that I found annoying. I’m sure he will love it…

Bought this for Christmas for my precious grandson, who was about to be three. My grandson absolutely loves this workbench. He loved turning the light on and off on and off on and off in the beginning, but I also bought him some tools that are battery operated to go with it and he stands there and plays for hours at his workbench, he loves the birdhouse that changes colors with water Very good interactive toy.

My grandson is too, and he plays with us all of the time. It’s well-made. It’s very sturdy. It was pretty easy to assemble. Even my granddaughter will play with it.

I ordered this for my granddaugher’s 2nd birthday. She loves to tinker with things—just like her daddy and her grandma. And wow! This sure comes with a lot of pieces for the price. I think it’s a very good value. She absolutely loves it! It is really very similar to a kid’s kitchen, except that it has tools instead of cooking supplies. It was not difficult to put together following the provided instructions. It comes with the screws needed for assembly. All you need is a Philips head screwdriver. The stickers really dress it up and are very sticky, so make sure you apply them carefully—they don’t come back off very easily. It comes with a built in table saw that has movement when you push it. I am very impressed with the battery-operated drill that comes with both a drill bit and a flat-head screwdriver tip. It operates forward and reverse! I’m also impressed with the LED light! The set also includes a hand saw, hammer, screwdriver, pliers, an adjustable wrench that really adjusts, a paint bucket, paint tray, two paint brushes, and we also received two paint rollers (I think it was supposed to come with one). The bird house is made of foam pieces that you put together like a puzzle. It changes color when “painted” with plain water which is very cool. It also comes with a spray bottle, and a lot of nuts and bolts. It has a pegboard with various hooks to hang the tools.My only complaint is that the photos show many different foam pieces stacked up on the shelves of the workbench, AND the assembled bird house. If you assemble the bird house with those foam pieces, there are no extra pieces for anything else. It’s a little misleading in the photos.A bit of caution is that if you have a climber, this will tip easily. The whole thing is very lightweight (so it’s easy to move around the room if you have a need). You may want to attach it to the wall. Also, if you have a biter, the foam birdhouse pieces are easily bitten into pieces. And there are lots of small pieces (like the nuts and bolts), so be carefully about the little ones who still put things in their mouths.Overall, this is a terrific set, great for hours of fun for boys OR GIRLS!!
