Q: Why isn't there a white wire in this whip?

Hello. Thank you for your question. A very common use for the Sealproof Power Whip assembly is for AC hook ups. In this application and many similar ones there are only 2 live (or sometimes called "hot") conductors and a ground. Since these hookups require a return path there are 2 main conductors and there is no neutral line (typically color coded as white) the assembly does come with a ground wire (green wire) which similarly is required for these type of installations.

Q: Is this 3/4" i.d. or 3/4" o.d.? i just need the tube.

It's 3/4 inside dia. I used it conjunction with 3/4 PVC fitting and it worked fine. However, my application was indoor. I don't recommend to mix and match, since the application requires to be air/liquid tight, if use it outdoor.

Q: Can i use this whip to connect my generator 30 amp power inlet box to the breaker panel? it’s for outdoor use

I did not use this for the same purpose as you, but the wires are for 40A (#8 gauge) and suitable for outside use subject to correct instalation. Having said that. Yes, you can use this outdoor on 30A power outlet. Good luck.

Q: Are both ends straight? Or is one end a 90 degree bend?

One end is a 90, however easy to change to straight if needed.
